Now that I think about it, aren't all of Usopp's new attacks plant based? If that's so then he really drew the shot straw on this one since all of his plants might burn up instantly due to the heat and fire everywhere.

I love the beginning of new arcs for One Piece. There's all of this crazy poo poo and mysteries going on and half of the fun is seeing everyone try to piece together how the story is going to turn out and then seeing if they were right or if Oda throws something out there that no one thought of.

Either there is something keeping pirates from getting to Raftel or it's one of those islands that have no magnetic waves for log posts to get a reading on it. Or maybe the New Age of Piracy is the one Bellamy and Donlfamingo talk about where no one dreams and they all act like "real" pirates.
