Mr. Carlisle posted:Alienating your fans is pretty much how to succeed in wrestling 101. Next step is to raise ticket prices to $75 each in order to sell more seats in empty arenas. Honestly, I don't think these changes will alienate very many of the MSW fans that attend the shows, just us on the Internet. The people that go to the shows all seem to be super marks. Almost a throwback to the 70s and 80s. I think that's why I had so much fun at the shows I went to, because those people really got into every match even when it was the drizzling shits. Losing Stro may make a few of them stop coming for a while, but I'd say they'll be back once they attach themselves to a new face. That said, there have to be better wrestlers in the area to bring in than Lost Boy Nero and Zac Vincent. Ugh.

Actually, I think these two new goofs may make the forth tag team, now that The Hollywood Outlaws have broken up. I mean, you have Shane/Lit, who are pretty good, then Bad Karma, and Buddy Love and Bob Brown. No way Nero and Zac are worse than the latter two, are they?

^^ I love the squinty one! Conard's on a show, if it hits the internet I'll watch it. That guy has a ton of potential. But not enough I'll risk driving into WV and interact with fleshreal people. Also that bit about Diablo was very interesting. Has anyone met his kids?

Did Stro ever actually have good matches in MSW? Because the one time I sat down to watch the show he had a time limit draw with Adam Pearce and I wanted to die.

So Johnny Blast is in fact going to be at the Hinton show (the one that's totally UNLEASHED that I posted a promo poster for previously) and his name isn't even on the promo poster at all. That's kind of a dick move, MSW. Buddy Love is advertised but no Johnny Blast. Get your poo poo together.

I'm down for that if I'm home tonight. Johnny Blast's post about providing us with awesome content even if it's not MSW got me to thinking - we could track down some stuff from guys like Conard, Bulldozer, Blast, Stro and the other wrestlers we enjoy watching from other indies that put their stuff online and watch that together. That way each week it'd be a new experience with a different promotion but still with familiar talent that we could continue to support. It's an idea to consider, anyway.
