Valewalker melee is actually based on peeling. All of their strongest styles are side and back styles.

You gain 'realm points' from various things in RVR. The realm points are your new experience points, which help you plow through about 140 levels of realm levels. Every 10 realm levels you gain a realm rank. For every realm level, you gain 1 realm skill point to spend on realm abilities. For every realm rank (10 realm levels) you gain +1 to all of your skills. At realm rank 5 you gain a unique class ability.

There's lots of factors:

The dps of your weapon/the quality of your weapon.
Your skill level in Longbow.
Your bonus to bow skill
Your % bonus to magic damage.
Your realm rank.
Their realm rank.
(I tend to use PB shot a lot more in rvr)
Most people have a 26% reduction to arrow damage these days from resistances

the current state of focus pulling

It's best done with a fully buffed pet (by a cleric/druid/shaman), and a person to cast a non-aggro HoT on the pet (mentalist/friar/mend shaman). They essentially turned focus pulling into a 3-man gig, especially if you want to do MASSIVE pulls with it. With that being said though, there's nothing a dedicated 3-man focus pulling team CAN'T do.

Yeah sure thing. I used to do some serious pve farming and powerlevelling with a enchanter with 50 enchantment, a mentalist with 48 mana, and a cleric with 50 enhance. Add a few realm ranks and master levels on top of that, and you can end up with a level 62 pet with many thousands of hitpoints for a short time.

The best use of a warden in its current state is that of a caster Bodyguard (master level skill), red resistance buffs, 6 second pulsing bladeturn, and TWF/snares. I've seen some wardens run on the tank train, bodyguarding the MA (main assist), that's interesting.

Best thing you can do is hotkey your ground target button so you can just hold it down and click where you want to drop shrooms.

Edit: Also, I re-upped an account today that is linked to my EA account, but no matter what I change the password to, the login thing always tells me the account/password are incorrect. This doesn't happen with my main account, just this old one. Anyone else come across this?

No, I've levelled about 6 guys to 50 in the last few weeks doing BG quests. Whenever I've been in CV there's either no one, or one stealther, total.

SERPUS
Mar 20, 2004
Easily. You can level a character from scratch to 50 in about 10-12 hours played. They have a quest system set up that basically just walks you all the way there. You can either level in the world or in the battlegrounds, and the quests are just collect 5 bear dongs or whatever easy things. You never have to farm for gear while levelling because the quests always give you free stuff, and the battlegrounds quests give you bounty points to buy gear. When you're 42 or so, you can start doing "atlantean glass" quests, which is a currency for level 50 gear, Master level credit, and Artifact credit and activation. Easy as pie.

I resubbed about a month ago, and levelled up a ranger from 1. In about 15 hours of played time, I was fully levelled, geared up, and templated for rvr. I'm now nearly realm rank 5 and I don't even play well.

SERPUS
Mar 20, 2004
Not required, but drat sure useful if you want to get into a group or get anything done solo. They have this "realm buffer" NPC (new since I last played) that can give you all yellow specs, bases, and resists for something like 30 gold or 30 bp. I think its just a goldsink though, because those buffs are really awful compared to bot buffs.

SERPUS
Mar 20, 2004
The "new" questing system makes levelling pretty easy actually. It's geared so that even solo healer can progress pretty quickly. It starts out in Cotswold and finishes up around level 48.

Logged in at 10pm EST last night, Friday. There were 17 Hibs online. 12 level 50's in the frontier area, and some other assorted level 23-45 people in all different zones. I zone over to the frontier and nearly all of the level 50s are just standing there idling. No chatter, no intel reports, no mids camping the gates, nothing.

The reason that the market prices are so inflated is that the plat farmers are still in full swing. Pop into PoC at any time of the night and see the massive bot pulls going on. The dollar price of plat is at an all-time low. $20 lands you nearly 300 plat. For people that are already spending 30-45 a month (main and two buffbots), what's another 40-50 dollars?

I think I bought 500 plat during my last stint just because I wanted to have some spending money.

Sure enough, a group ran by and I splashed all of them with the aoe dot. MAYBE half of the dots crit for about 125 damage per tick while the rest hovered around the 80's.
