This looks like the fire pro equivalent of those games they made for NFL and MLB where they made big stars little kids and had games occur in the backyard.

If they would have just made it a mostly traditional fire pro game where also had the option to use your avatar it would have been fine, I wouldn't even have been bothered by some silly moves like mega flipping Powerbombs and THE TICKLE. But no. That's not what they did.

Yo man, Backyard (Sport) was awesome when it was just a bunch of weird kids who were vaguely stereotypes while also being lame puns or jokes. Then they started putting pros in it and the pros were so good that there was no reason to not pick a team full of kid pros. poo poo those were some fun games.

Especially since the only Fire Pro game I've ever really played a lot of is the Dreamcast version since I never had a PS2 as well. Dreamcast version is drat good though.
