I broke down and bought Lumines on the PSN. It's $6 more than retail on Amazon, but still cheaper than buying it at Gamestop. I wanted it now dammit! It's also only like ~728mb so it's okay on my 4GB card for now. edit: Sent out a few invites to people on the list. Add me! I currently only have one other Vita user :'( http://www.klaver.co.uk/ps3goons/index.php?u=239 edit2: Well I guess I was wrong on the prices. Didn't know they weren't discounted any longer. My local Walmart made the mistake of putting out their entire Vita inventory yesterday, wifi and 3g/wifi models both. I figured I would make an attempt to purchase a wifi model and kept my fingers crossed. I had the friendly associate carry everything to the register and I am feeling good as gold. Hot Shots Golf and the memory card ring up just fine, but when the Vita ran across the scanner, "Sale Not Allowed" Ahhhhh! Denied at the gate!

The PSP has always been especially hand-crippling for me. Because the system is wider and more naturally sloped, it ends up fitting in your hands in a much more natural way. The PSP was seriously cramped, and I hated it too, but I've had zero problems with the Vita. Idk, going by impressions the shoulder buttons aren't much better than the PSP's, which were a source of constant pain in games you had to continually have them pressed. I can't see myself buying one these attachments but I can certainly see some appeal.

But at least I can consider putting the UMD copy up on eBay. More than anything, however, I'd like to know if Square plans to do a Final Fantasy PSN sale (for Dissidia 012) like they did for Europe a couple of weeks ago. Has Sony completely denied whether or not they'll have a PSN discount sale for the Vita's launch? I know we're hoping for it, but if they haven't mentioned anything about it yet, there's still a shot it could happen.

QuicK question regarding PSP games. Does the system log you out if your online when you play a PSP game? If no, what does it say you are playing? My understanding is PSP games play through an emulator. Does the system say what game you are playing on your status or just "PSP game" or similar?

OK so I'm still confused about how regions work on this thing. I've got 3 PSN accounts (UK, US, JP), but the Vita can only use one? But someone said something about sub-accounts? Or are the accounts tied to the memory cards, as was the rumour ages ago, so you just make one for each account? Has all this mayhem been sorted out yet or are we still waiting for confirmation?

^^^^^^^^^^^ Mine go over a little sometimes otherwise my index fingers hover around the top corners near the triggers. Wow, just realized you can press and hold the PS button. It lets you change brightness, music volume and two other options (previously thought changing the brightness was a pain). I haven't read the manuals so there's that. You can also use it to wake the system. I've just been using the power button.

Lower expected sales for niche titles in a market where the people who actually want these games will pay the premium = higher prices ![]() They price higher because they can. It's not like these games, if priced less, would suddenly see way more sales because they are so outside of the mainstream.

It's just kind of ridiculous that Atlus USA charges $40 for Persona 1 while in the UK they charge $15 (converted from Pound to USD), that's what I'm thinking at least.

Have you guys seen the recent Mortal Kombat for Vita trailer? In a pretty stupid move, it seems to very heavily imply that the game features Augmented Reality, but that is in fact NOT at all a feature of the game, as confirmed by (among other sources) Ed Boon on twitter. Supposedly the trailer is just meant to illustrate playing the game anywhere you go. Seriously, watch this and tell me it doesn't make you think the game features AR.
