I cannot stand that whole "claw grip" thing and it turned me off to the series entirely. I'd be interested in giving it another spin if I don't have to break my hand to do it. You can set the right joystick to act as the Dpad, the slide pad or the face buttons on all PSP games.

God, the picture and sound quality on this thing blows my mind. Been playing Wipeout and having more fun than I thought I would. Is there a way to add MP3s to this thing from my PC? Or do I have to download my music from Sony

So, I was trying to figure out how to get Multiplayer going in Wipeout. I went to the multiplayer campaign and clicked on the first event, but it just sits at a load screen, then drops me back to the main menu.

(I hook up to my PS3 so I can't help beyond that.) Yeah, I got it working, the URL they told me to go to on the Vita didn't actually work, had to google for the content manager. It's here for those who don't know: http://cma.dl.playstation.net/cma/win/en/index.html Still trying to figure out why Wipeout just boots me back to the menu when I do Multiplayer. Do you need a premade group going to play online?

Yeah, it never stops being anything but a system tray. I don't know how Media Go went, but this seems a bit stupid. All your files that you want to move to the Vita need to be in the same folder, which is set by the program, and then you go to the Content Manager on the vita and add the files you want from there.

Primoman posted:How does sleep mode work on the Vita? Can you jump to the main interface ala 3DS? Is there a way to "save state" your position in a game before switching to another? You can go back to the Live Area while in game without losing progress, and I'd say jumping back in is faster than an iOS device. But you can't multitask games. You can also go into sleep without losing progress. Also, if you hold the Home button down while in game, you can control any music you have playing in the background as well as Voice/Party chat priority.

I didn't get the screen protector, but one of the guys at my Gamestop gave me the cleaning cloth and that seems to do a fantastic job of keeping the screen smudge free. Also Little Deviants is bad. Trading that in later.

So, has anyone gotten Wipeout 2048's multiplayer to work? Online Campaign sends me back to the main menu after selecting the first event, and Cross Play just sends me back to the main menu as well.

The people playing on the console would have such an advantage that playing online with a Vita wouldn't even be fun. Those li'l Vita analog sticks and a 5" screen aren't loving with someone on a PS3 control and a HDTV. I'm all for a COD on the Vita, but it should be its own thing, not a cross-play title. I don't see how this is something raising the sensitivity or allowing back touchpad use wouldn't solve. Hell, back touchpad might even give the Vita players the advantage.
