After they put in the solo beta queue this game has gone to poo poo. Now every time we queue up as a 4 or 5 man we get put against these MLG condesending assholes and get rolled. If i try to solo queue i get put on a team with idiots against idiots. I'm done, might come back in a few months and see what they have done with it.

This is not the fault of the matchmaking system, or the devs, or the game, or even the genre. Just find some people who are good at the game and queue with them. Statistically, most people who play games are bad at them. If you queue with random people expect most of them to be bad - both on your team, and theirs. Also, consider the nonzero chance that you, yourself, are bad (remember: most people are!), and that's why you keep losing. Your equally bad teammates are just not helping the situation at all. They started off great since alot of people on them seem to have a pretty good understanding of the game. Then this group of three good players started queueing together. Now it is a case of either getting stomped, or rolling on their team and stomping, neither of which is interesting or fun. Why dont they just open a solo only queue already? The majority of people would use it, and then when you want a bigger teamwork challenge start up a 5 man and go up against other 5 mans.

The trick to jungle bots is that once they lock onto a player, they won't go for anyone else until that person dies, leaves the jungle, or cloaks (if they're an Assassin). It works just fine, really; it would be nice if there was an easy way to tell who exactly the bot's going for, but I don't know that there's really an elegant way to do that considering how there can be multiple bots going after multiple targets.

I definitely think there's some tweak that could be applied to improve things. The issue for me is that if the jungle bots target one side over the other, it makes it feel unfair, like luck had too high of an influence in who got the annie. I suppose one option would actually be to make the jungle spawn rate actually increase while the annie is up. Sounds counter-intuitive, but it would make it less likely that all the bots would target one side. Sure, you'd have the occasional instance where it's even more lopsided, but that would happen less often. I'd also love to toss around some ideas on what could actually be done to help with the Vet Ka-Claw issue that people constantly talk about, since I do agree that it's an issue. Anyone have any they've thought of? Someone mentioned the other day that Vet should just be split off into his own class of initiators, that seems like it could work. Or else, let's see. I guess they could just make it really obvious to your team-mates when someone gets pulled so they can rush in and help - flashing symbol or something. Or maybe make Vet vulnerable right after a pull, so that on his own he can't just surprise sex someone, he needs a partner or two to make it really effective. Or make the person pulled be immune to grabs for a brief time, so they can still get hosed up but it's not a 100% gently caress-train. I think there are a ton of options they could try.

Haha, just played a game with a dev and once we had pretty strong control of the annihilator, he suggested we intentionally not activate it just so they keep rushing us and feeding. It kinda felt like a dick move, but on the other hand it was quite the delicious buffet.

They should add grapple damage reduction to stunned people. Right now, Karl's pretty much at Veteran's level of brokenness, except unlike Veteran wasting your time before killing you, Karl basically just instagibs you.

People think the annihilator is a much, much bigger deal than it is. I know a lot of people new to the game literally believe that "whoever gets the first annihilator wins", which is true only in the sense that the team who wins the annihilator fight is probably a better team, and is therefore going to win because of that. I've played over a hundred games and I've never felt that I won or lost a game just because of the annihilator.

I main Karl and he's just bananas right now. He already did great damage but with the change to his alt-fire it's pretty much a guaranteed kill on anyone if I land my stun.

The first annihilator only decides the game if you throw yourselves at them over and over and give them 8-10 kills fighting for it. That can put them far enough ahead to make it very tough to come back from. The key is knowing when you can't take it, just buy bots after they get it and give them no kills.

After playing the first game, I can't come to enjoy this one. The fast paced, insane combat speed was the whole reason I loved it. This game isn't bad, but the slow pace and toned down combat is incredibly boring in comparison.

Got an invite from a friend a couple days ago, but I just got my proper access code today. Can't redeem it for free gifts or anything so it's pretty much useless so me. I assume this'll give you the game plus however many invites come standard with it. JAJQB-FVBGE-CF8BD I don't watch this thread so make sure to quote it when you grab it so other people can see, I guess. Not sure if this is the place for it, but it's worthless to be as-is and it looks like people are tossing around the gift copies here.

Played with a newbie friend today and the team we went up against was exploiting. Their entire team (except a guy who wasn't in their premade) had Gunner's machinegun. We were getting our asses kicked until my friend bought a Jackbot (he didn't know that just buying a Jackbot is pretty much a waste of money), except the other team completely ignored it and it went all the way to their base and wrecked it. ![]() Anyway, does anyone know where replays are saved? Thank you eigo and co for putting up with me. The only match where I actually went on something that resembled a killing spree ended up with us losing. It looks like I might have to stick to playing assault for a little while longer until I feel confident into playing tank or support again. I don't really get karl other than I fail at stunning someone and unloading energy balls into them at anything but short range. I'm also miffed about bomb jumping being nearly useless, momentum gained from the blast feels drastically reduced which makes ring outs and jumping difficult.
