Yay, I don't have to feel a little bad! Also, I think I need to move to a better baseball town if Milwaukee is the way non-terrible cities do things.

I'm not here to judge, but Milwaukee's opening day is a consumption orgasm inside of an abortion. ...with that being said, you should always take opening day off in my opinion. Further along in the season, you should convince your boss to have an off-site meeting at the park. If you can convince him to expense the tickets, even better. I'm speaking from experience. Can we give Scoobi his own thread again just so he has someplace else to dump his freakout Pineda posts for the rest of the season?

Going to the D'Backs/Giants Opening Day game; gonna get there early for batting practice to see if Trammell and/or Gibson will sign my Tigers pennant for me. I'm not a D'Backs fan, per se, but I do enjoy going to their games and wish for them to do well, if just for the fact that two ex-Tigers legends help manage the team. Chase Field is also a drat nice baseball stadium.

I've made my peace with Zito by now. He sucks and every fifth day he's going to give up four runs in five innings on average. This is a roster decision the team can actually do something about and Bochy is being just cagey enough about the final decision to make it seem like he might actually break the pattern and make the right move. Which is going to make it that much more infuriating when they end up trotting out Huff for at least month and a half before doing what they should have done as soon as Belt's hand healed last year.

Radnich is loving terrible. I haven't bothered fixing the radio in my car since I changed my battery, is Damon Bruce still on the show with him? Because it was nice of KNBR to put both of their smug morons in one timeslot so I could avoid it easily.

Last time I listened, yes, but one of the last times I listened was when Tony Bruno called some pitcher an illegal alien. "Lincecum shouldn't be in the All-Star Game, his Win-Loss ratio is bad."

I don't know why the just didn't roll with Mayberry at first and Brown in left. I don't see how it could be any worse than the current poo poo show.

Are the Phillies still claiming Brown needs more time to adjust to LF from RF? That was among the funniest explanations I'd ever heard for burying a young guy that's out of favor.

Yeah seriously, Smyly shouldn't be anywhere close to the majors out of spring, it's just badly rushing a lesser prospect instead of the top one. The Tigers have this weird Roman gladiatorial approach to pitcher level placement that I'll never figure out.
