While the illusion of choice was completely removed with the final decision of the game (which is a sore spot for most players, I guess), I still really like the ending. I chose destroy, cos gently caress them squids I felt that it brought an end to the whole saga, while providing the message that life goes on yadda yadda yadda. Also, there was apparently some leaked ME3 script from a few months ago involving Dark Energy, which the fans didn't like and might have prompted this change. I dunno.
