You kidding? Ginsberg is the man and appears to have a ton of room for development.

Regarding Ginsberg being future Don, that seems to be the case. I mean, I don't think Don is beyond recovery when it comes to him being out of touch, but I do think it's kind of inevitable that he shifts into a (more productive version of) Roger mode as the series moves forward. So Ginsberg and Peggy competing for the new accolades when it comes to creativity in SCDP makes pretty good sense. I don't really think Ginsberg freaking out about the media on the Speck murders is meant to be anything more than it is at face value: an indication that he's a pretty sensitive and sometimes touchy guy. The Cinderella pitch is an indication that the dude, for all of his supposed genius, don't necessarily know what women want so well. Even in Mad Men, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

I like how prior to this season everyone was pretty warm on Pete. The writers sure have put the kibosh on that in one fell 51 minute swoop, eh?

I did not enjoy that episode. I thought the pacing was good and the camerawork and plot-points were fine, but there was something...off about the execution.

Then again, I thought they were going to keep on this newly calmed down Don until tonight happened, so what do I know?
