Also that apostrophe at the bottom of your post is distressing me for some reason!

The thing about my bad trip was that I got stuck. I freaked out, thought I was reliving an uncomfortable salvia trip, and just got STUCK. Everything would repeat itself multiple times, like I wouldn't just hear someone say something twice or whatever, the ENTIRE ROOM would look and feel like it was splitting off from this plane of reality and descending into eternal repitition. It looked like funneling. Like the world was falling, over and over. There's some screen savers that kind of have the same effect, but I can't really think of how to describe them. And the worst thing was every repitition would come faster, and get smaller, and then...nothing. I don't really know. It's hard to put into words.

I know exactly what you mean, it's kind of like a kaleidoscope that keeps changing in front of you, except all the previous images you see through the kaleidoscope layer on top of each other. It really is freaky.

Also remind me to never take mushrooms!

I made this dramatis personae while I was reading through it to refresh myself, let me know if anything's off with it:

Whisker: 7-year-old protagonist
Dad
Mom

Rita: Dad’s ladyfriend

Marcia: friend of Mom [age?]

Mrs. Ickelheimer: the new straightedge principal

Brett: best friend

Shane: school friend?

Grandpa
Grandma
- Mom’s parents

Kalliope: dead sister?

Lydia: the old principal?
