 Judgment Time! Congratulations to: 1 Point - Stabbington! A fantastic mix of effects, great basing job, a real sense of grandeur and weight to this giant model. Looks fantastic. Keep up the great work! 2 Points - Mr. Booger! Holy hell! Where did that come from? Sushi already summed up everything that is right with this model, the only thing he got wrong was not having enough points to his name to give you. 3 Points - Monoliths! This was astounding work. There are a few technical flaws (a bit overdone on the light sourcing at the eyes, a bit of a bland base) but let me tell you: If any of the rest of you came back to me in a year's time and said "Fix, you're wrong, and here's the Slayer Sword I won for the model I painted in the oath thread that month: I'd say two things in retort. First, "get the hell out of my bedroom you psycho," and second: "Yes, yes, it was very nice, but did it vomit and foam? DID IT VOMIT AND FOAM? NO! IT DIDN'T!" Monoliths, my man, you have repeatedly over the last few years shown a dedication to creative conversion, and detailed execution, and you are a boon to this hobby. Never stop.

Oath time! To start out with, I, BirdieBedtime, am oathing 3 Greatsword Command models and 4 lovely impossible-to-glue-properly two-piece Termagants! I'm also going to go save some whales!  And here is a picture of everything, with a visible timestamp this time.  Here is the original oath for these models. I have an itch to work on some Tyranids, so I'm going to use these termagants as brainstorming, and just try out color schemes until I find one that's right. And these are all Games Workshop models for the purposes of Generations.Is that everything? I think that's everything...

Holy crap SRM, how do you paint so fast. I have spent several days of serious painting, and I have yet to finish a single Marine. (granted, I am being extremely anal about my painting, and doing it one at a time so that it remains interesting but you are really pumping them out.)

It helps a lot! I just put on podcasts or TV shows/movies that are dialogue-heavy and I just paint! I also have most of this week off and then the weekend, so I've got time! That and the drive to field a hundred tiny space Russians at once gives me the motivation I need

That makes sense. I do pretty much the same thing with TV(Netflix is a godsend.). I just seem to paint relatively slow. (three hours for an arm, where as I would have an entire guardsman painted in less than that.)
