The Kennedy's fire-in-the-belly anti-war and anti-hipster song all on the backdrop of the Killing Fields is great stuff for everbody's favorite gun-happy series set in the South Pacific.

I've always had a soft spot for AMVs. I was 13 when Youtube started gaining popularity back in 2006, and my cousin and I spent all of our time watching Azumanga Daioh AMVs, so AMVs in general just bring back good memories for me. (These have spoilers for their respective shows, but I guess that goes without saying) Eureka Seven - Sunlight, by Natalie Imbruglia https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFneHoOMIQE I love this one. It showcases some of the most gorgeously animated and heartwarming points of the show with a great song. If you have never seen E7 before, I dare you not to want to watch it after seeing this. Madoka Magica - Be Prepared, by Elton John https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNuMWFz43IA This is the funniest AMV I have ever seen. It's such a simple idea that the creator could have taken the lazy route and just put Be Prepared over random scenes of Kyubey, but (s)he did a good job syncing up the song to the video. Probably the first amv that I ever saw that I actually liked was from Azumanga Daioh, I'm not positive that it was this one, but regardless it's well done and is it's own thing rather than just clips set to some random internet person's favorite song. I liked that Running Man one, it's no doubt in large part due to the fact that The Utah Saints bring back a lot of fond memories for me (the original version with the Kate Bush sample is better though.  ) Information High is always good to hear too. I like that video,which is no surprise because Macross Plus kind of rules.How about what is probably the original precursor to amvs? I've made some AMVs. I have a problem where I try to make them slow and tell a story when people just want "cool effects" and "transitions." Basquash was a great, unqiue series when it started but quickly got turned into below-average junk, oh well. Still, you can't get much cooler than mechs playing basketball. I also love this version of Give it Away, but some people can't get past the remix.
