Hey I decided to check and see how Project Phoenix is doing since the funding period is ending soon. Did they add new stretch goals or has everything past the $1,650,000 mark always been there?

al-azad posted:Isn't it part of Square's weird "pitch us a game" thing? There's got to be some kind of quality control if they're putting their name on it unless there's a clause stating "we reserve to back the gently caress up if things turn south." Doesn't look like it, the only mention of Square Enix on the Kickstarter page is this: quote:The positive feedback that we have gotten through various media channels such as Kotaku and the Square Enix community has encouraged us to keep the community involved in the development of our game. Speaking of that though, I remember there being a project that was part of it, but I can't remember it. It looked inspired by Final Fantasy Tactics and used customizable dice that would decide damage. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Yooka-Laylee info from Playtonic http://www.playtonicgames.com/raising-the-curtain/ Getting close to revealing the release date, introduces a few new characters including the villain, talks about the collectables, and the backer exclusive demo thing is coming sometime in July, took so long because they expanded the scope of it. More info coming May 26 from Edge and then E3.

njsykora posted:So the Parappa and Gitaroo Man devs are teaming up for a new game (up to the $3m stretch goal with Switch at $5m) and it has a million dollar Kickstarter going. Also people seem to have forgotten the last time the Parappa devs tried to do a new game we got Major Minor's Majestic March which was god awful. This was probably the only way this it was happening, but when I heard about it in the E3 thread I was expecting it to be further along and fully funded.
