90's Arcade Racer might be heading to the Wii U according to this update. (read it closely) There's also a couple of new screenshots. Nothing special but it looks like it might hit the goal.

Yeah, I really don't think this will work. Nicalis already has a shady history as is with the Cave Story incident. Welp, as long as it doesn't kill development of the PC version.... Zeether fucked around with this message at 23:26 on Feb 11, 2013 |

Kenshin posted:http://www.joystiq.com/2013/03/26/heavy-gear-assault-to-use-unreal-engine-4-pulls-trigger-on-new/ I was kind of doubtful on this, but that trailer is all done in UE4 and I think it could potentially turn out well. Some people are a bit mad at MekTek though because they had to drop MechWarrior 4 to do this. Zeether fucked around with this message at 02:33 on Mar 27, 2013 |

Nyu Media has a kickstarter for their upcoming shmup trilogy The Tale of Alltynex in order to finish off some small touches and get some physical goods out: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/nyumedia/the-tale-of-alltynex-japans-epic-shooting-game-tri Aside from the $750 tier reward being a bit creepy (and the second time a game kickstarter has had a body pillow reward) this seems like something worth backing because all 3 of these games kick rear end and are just spaceships blowing poo poo up (as opposed to the eXceed games they released before)

Heavy Gear Assault just updated their Kickstarter. Goal is still $800k, but they're adding a single player mode right off the bat instead of making it a stretch goal. I think I'm in on this. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/stompybot/heavy-gear-assault-0/posts/490704

The guys behind Interstate '76 and Twisted Metal have a new vehicular combat game kickstarter: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1517270521/motorgun-return-of-the-auto-duel Unfortunately it's really short of the goal, but with 31 days left anything can happen...maybe. $650k is quite a lot.

90's Arcade Racer hasn't updated in a while and I'm starting to think the Nicalis partnership is starting to rub off on it or something. Really hope it's not canceled or having dev issues.

Upcoming Kickstarter: 80's aesthetic/Ridge Racer tribute Drift Stage, which got greenlit on Steam recently. They got an alpha out with a time trial as the only available mode and the campaign's gonna start on Monday. http://supersystems.itch.io/driftstagealpha I can say this is pretty drat good after trying it. Controls feel right, drifting is fun and almost feels like Outrun 2 and the look of the game combined with the Drive-esque music makes it an awesome experience. I can't beat the expert ghost though

This sounds kinda cool, but I'm not sure if it's going to succeed: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/473961744/street-tuning-evolution These guys are doing a followup to Street Legal Racing Redline, which was a street racing game where you could take apart your car to tinker with the engine. Not much of the new game is shown though besides shots from SLRR, but they seem to have an ample amount of time to raise the minimum at least...maybe
