The camera will zoom in on the cock but this time the cock will be CGI instead of practical effect.

To be fair, the History Channel was terrible before it became the alien conspiracy channel. It focused way too much on World War II. TLC was awesome though, before it became the midget housebuilding network.

But you still had other interesting shows such as Battlefield Detectives that were interesting to watch and also provided a more interesting take than being stuck reading stuffy books.

When you go from showing how the battle Agincourt English victory was not due to the standard school story of the longbow doing everything to Ancient Aliens it's pretty clear something is wrong.

I agree that that is one of the highlights of the last two seasons. But at the same time, I think the storyline would have been far more powerful if it had proceeded as originally intended before the writers strike the mutiny succeeds on every ship except the Galactica, they all jump away, and they all get destroyed by the Cylons, leaving the Galactica's crew alone as the last human survivors

Or have the ruined Earth be the official ending

The whole everyone going off to die along aspect was really depressing, given how one of the compelling aspects of the show was watching both the functional and dysfunctional relationships developing over time.

And many characters not being able to make it to the end.

Another fun fact from the show I like is how the model ship smashing scene was improv-ed by Olmos and the model ship was a really expensive on-loan item from a museum.

I give Black Market a pass because it has Bill Duke.

And similar to Michael Ironside Bill Duke doesn't have a good screen survival probability.

Tyrol's freakout where he starts ranting about Cally smelling of cabbage and having cow eyes was one of the best moments in the show. As was his crazy murder rage killing of Tori in the finale.

Tyrol is basically O'Brien if he finally lost control and went on a craziness spree.

Didn't O'Brien lose control earlier in his career at some famous battle? I think he is also known as the Hero of Setik III. He became an Engineer because he didn't want to be a grunt and constantly out to kill other people.

But that's a subtle nerd reference, it's a shame he never went Postal on DS9 after having to clean out yet another clogged sewage line.

Wait, why didn't they just flat-out release this as a movie to begin with? I mean I don't get the logical chain of events here. I remember reading a year back about SyFy execs not liking what they saw of what was already shot (is this true? Correct me if not). But, regardless of what happened, they're going to release it as a movie anyways, so why not just do it now, or hell, even wait until early 2013 and release it then and scrap the whole web-series idea? It doesn't make any sense.

Pretty much it got greenlit for the 2 pilot episodes but then the execs didn't have any interest into making a regular series.

Yes but unfortunately the cocks are CGI not actually real.

Yeah there's just something so unsatisfying and boring about a green screen set.

Also I found this site with some shots of sets from BSG:

Here's a sad shot on what happenend to the original CIC set after the series wrap:

Totally agree. My guess is they planned in the script for it to naturally lead into a TV series, but we all know what we're going to get with regard to a B&C TV series :smith:

But yeah, I've loved the web series up to this point but I think we'll get screwed over in terms of a satisfying ending. Which makes me really hope that people in this thread are right (at least I remember reading it in this thread) and that we get a series of DVD movies following the adventures of Young Adama and Crew. If we don't, looks like we'll be stuck waiting for the Diaspora team to make Cylon War campaigns to tell the story that we never got on TV.

Yup a pilot episode is basically a way to sell the premise, characters and setting of show. It takes a full season to satisfy the story arc or develop it further.

Blood and Chrome was pretty much aiming for another series but didn't get enough interest to get past the pilot stage.

Especially if it was shot the same way with all of that loving bloom and lens flare, Jesus Christ.

He's pretty handsome and also one of the few characters that avoids the BSG broken character personality.
