The Why We just can't get enough of animated .gif files on the internet, especially when they come to our favorite sports. With the Baseball season quickly getting underway, there's plenty of memorable moments that we all want to relive in precious Graphics Interchange Format. Some of us even have folders devoted to Raul Ibanez's fielding. Sometimes compression can't even save the best of .gifs from getting too unwieldy for casual browsing. Instead of cluttering up the main MLB news/views thread with those hypnotic moving beauties, a repository thread can serve best for requests or for people to post their creations. The How If you have absolutely no experience and don't care to learn how to make your own .gif, there are people who are willing to fulfill request within a reasonable timeframe. There are also sites such as Gifulmination which probably makes the most notable of .gifs faster than you can request it. If you want to try your own hand at it, there's a swath of resources at your disposal.
That's great.. but where do I get the video source for my .gifs? Baseball highlights can be found primarily on MLB.com and sometimes pop up on Youtube.com. The best way to download these files is to use an extension in either Chrome or Firefox. Personally, I use Downloadhelper in Firefox to grab the .mp4 highlights from MLB.com. However, there may be something you wish to capture that hasn't already been turned into highlight format. Luckily, programs such as Fraps are able to capture MLB.TV video from your desktop as you play over the selection you wish to capture. Are those 2 indicative of Young overall? Because that seriously looks like me at a baseball tryout when I was 10 and there was no coming back from it that year.

pkid posted:Why was the mascot with them!? After like the fifth? inning at home games for the Jays the "world's fastest ground crew" comes sprinting out of left field to clean up the infield, Ace (the mascot if for some unfathomable reason you don't know who Ace is ) joins them and plays the role of a mascot, usually doing something 'comical' when they have to go back through left field like slide but end short and get locked out or slam in to the wall.
