Please gif the 2seam fastball Darvish threw Ibanez to strike him out in the top of the 7th today. It was 94 mph and it moved about 10 feet to the right.

Goddamn. Only had 8.5" of movement according to pitchf/x, but he threw it WAY outside. Unfortunately for Ibanez, it followed the usual path of his fastball until ~35 feet away. On average his two-seamer has one more inch of horizontal movement than this one.

Jason Parks thinks it is his shuuto. It was pretty windy last night and his 2-seamer usually has great movement, so the wind could have gotten a hold of it. Whatever it was it was spectacular. Here is the BP article on it

Oh, I feel it! I feel the Kozmas!

Not a .gif, but I lost this when I reformatted my machine and it falls into the category of funny baseball things.

In the NLCS last year, in game...3, I think, Chris Carpenter faced Rickie Weeks. On like the 2-2 pitch, Weeks fouled a ball down the right field line, and the microphone captured this really weird noise some fan made. I had it on Tindeck; anyone still have the link?

Anyway, can I request Cliff Lee catching an infield fly looking completely nonchalant? Mine somehow got all corrupted.

He pretty clearly would have been out, so even if you are a curmudgeonly old man who thinks any uniform without socks precisely to mid-calf is too flashy, it was the difference between a run and not a run.
