Man, "The Wreck" has my number at the moment. Steep slope with large barrel at the top, followed by a wide gap, then a low wooden slope. I can get up onto the barrel fairly reliably, but for the life of me I cannot get enough traction or momentum to clear the gap the follows. Edit; Well I get passed that one, and gently caress ME, the one the follows is even gnarlier ![]() magimix fucked around with this message at Apr 19, 2012 around 19:09 |

Once you clear that obstacle, the rest of the course isn't so bad. e; I imagine it would probably be easier with the B class bike. The Phoenix is so light that the driver make's it incredibly top heavy and easy to flip. L_Harrison fucked around with this message at Apr 19, 2012 around 19:48 |

Ha I love the Kotaku review. Granted he heaps praise upon praise on the game so that's good, but in the "things I didn't like" section he posted this:quote:I lost hours trying to master some of the game's tracks. All too often, it feels like you need to have perfect execution just to complete certain levels. Uh. No poo poo. That's the point of the entire game!

Has anyone made any progress on the achievement to find all the hidden squirrels or whatever? I've only seen one, when I was waiting around at the end of a track to see if anything else happened he just popped in from the side of the screen and a scary noise played.

Man, there already some really good tracks showing up. Alas, there are also plenty of tracks that *could* be good, were they not utterly ruined by the creator's penchant for loving around with the camera. Track creators across the world, hearken to me; stop loving around with the camera! Edit: For an example, check out 'The Downs Dream' by BRADS WRATH. Edit: Also, tracks that intentionally hide the racing line can go to hell. magimix fucked around with this message at Apr 19, 2012 around 20:59 |

I uploaded my first track earlier, which started off as a I'm starting to get used to the editor and its quirks now. One of the hardest parts was filling out the level with decorations so it didn't look like a desolate warehouse anymore. I have to admire the effort that went into all the official tracks, there's so much stuff that isn't part of the driving line but really adds to the feel of the tracks. I'm starting to get used to the editor and its quirks now. Will have to start experimenting with the more elaborate elements like events and triggers and all that fun stuff. I really can't wait to see what the more experienced members of the community will put out there.

Honestly in the other Trials games all I played and cared about mostly was the hard and extreme tracks, but Gigatrack is definitely one of my favorites now. I wish there were more long ones like it with the same difficulty, its relaxing and fun to just drive it and not even worry about your time. I hope some track creators make more of the same. I also definitely would like to see a hill climb around a circular tower that goes up forever, I wish I was creative enough to make the things I want, sadly I'm not. I could still use some local trials friends to compete with as well so add Atomic Ferret. My ending global rank + dlc in Trials HD after this came out was around 1600 for whatever that's worth.

I have no idea how the game works out silver medal at 1m 30s though!

Like people making skill-games which doesn't track your highest score, only the score at which you finally end or setting the wrong difficulty. A beginner track shouldn't require bunny-hops! I wish you could put more feedback than the 5-star rating.

Good Dog posted:Guess who that 1 guy that bumped Monk from 1000 to 1001 was. I'm not really that good, but I welcome the competition. I never even beat all the extremes on trials HD, I think I beat two of them. I like levels that have a good, fast flow to them, like Physics Factory. Any level that requires you to land on a steep hill without rolling backwards just kills me. I plan on playing this game for a long time though so I expect I'll improve. edit - and dammit at your time! I think I have room for improvement on physics factory though but I ain't gonna try to top my time again for a while.

I've added a bunch of guys from this thread onto my list. A few I probably will never beat but its always good to keep trying to beat the next one on the list. Right now I've blasted through most of the medium and hard tracks without attempting them again so over the weekend I'm going to make an effort to first gold stuff and then platinum if I can. Is there still a limit of time/faults? 500 I think it was previously.

Are the servers getting hit hard or does the game-finding/matchmaking suck hard? I get stuck in the "searching for players" screen forever and the two times it found players I got a game settings corrupt error. Thought I'd try multiplayer out for the first time, guess I'll go back to singleplayer.

Beat all the extremes except Wreck and Inferno today, although most with like 200 faults. I don't know how some of you guys do it, after a couple of minutes I would just start loving up on random "easy" parts and rack up like 20-30 faults in a minute and a half retrying the same stupid jump.

VDay I'm right there with you; it still seems easier, though, than HD. I already have gold on all the non-extreme tracks and two or three of those as well. I did take yesterday off and get up at 6:00 AM to start playing, but I have a problem. GT is the same as my user name, feel free to add me for some alright times on this new version (currently ranked 784 overall.)
