A couple TWD devs talk about an episode and you get to see some of the decision making behind the game. http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLFF1F41E3D8EF849E

Well I bought this from the Steam sale and just finished it. Pretty good game, fantastic writing, good characters, etc. I didn't really shed a tear or feel much sadness until the very last episode though, the final moment between Clem and Lee really got to me. I think for stories like this, I like the tragedy/sad stuff to be spaced out a bit more, so that it has more impact when it actually happens. With this, it's just a constant, expected thing, so it didn't really get to me much. But I also really liked Doug and Ben, so I guess I'm just weird overall.

I kind of a had mixed feelings about Ben, I didn't hate the guy, but I still dropped him because I figured it was his big moment. And yeah, my girlfriend was bawling her eyes out during the end, and I wasn't too far behind her.

So what do you lot reckon is the best advice to give to Omid and Christa? Outside by the train station, find a boat or meet us when we get down? There's also remain silent but I'm not sure what that does.

The game doesn't tell you what happens to them after that point, regardless of your choice. It may have an impact in the sequel, but who knows.

I went with "Meet us when we get down" because I was being hopeful that Lee would make it

I went with boat and felt like a complete idiot because of all the discussion in the group about how stupid it was before.

I just started playing but didn't read the thread to avoid spoilers. I ran into a problem near the beginning of the game where you are stuck in the pharmacy and trying to find the meds for the heart attack guy. I was walking around in circles trying to get outside the locked gate to get the keys when all of a sudden I could ask Carly if she was ready to go. This dialog option came out of the blue and all of a sudden we're walking to hotel where Glen is. WTF? Just a dialog-tree bug or did I miss a memo? Are these bugs common? It pissed me off something fierce.

If I'm reading you right, you're fine - the game just did a poor job of indicating the order of events. (On these events in episode 1) You can't actually get through the gate outside, nor get the meds for Larry, until after going for Glen. It is the only time I can think of from any of the episodes where the game is a bit confusing about things.

Huh. I didn't hear from Glen at all leading up to that choice. Clem has the radio but she didn't tell me that he called in. But how the hell did they get out of the pharmacy? The last we saw the gate was locked and the back door was boarded. It was frustrating because you couldn't use the walking stick to reach the drat brick to smash open the lock, the smash the window and distract the walkers.

Corin Tucker's Stalker posted:Yeah, it's a weird hiccup in a game that feels intuitive and makes narrative sense 99% of the time. That sequence threw me off too, since it seemed like the medicine would be a priority and I didn't hear anything about Glen. Hah, yes, I had the same impression, by the sound of it. I was worried about Glen's well-being to be sure, but Larry sounded like he was at death's door, and was of course also in there with us. I tried and tried and tried to sort the meds out before leaving for Glen; I was certain I was missing something.

There is definitely a bug where you don't hear the radio call from Glenn. I think they just slip out through the back through the office, but yeah it's really unclear.

Walking Dead Season 2 should be a lighthearted romantic comedy that takes place after society has reformed and the zombie threat has been completely dealt with, in which a teenage Clem has to decide between the rough around the edges ex-zombie hunter or the haughty but misunderstood son of the encampment's leader. Will she find love?

Apparently the unique 'bridge' content between TWD season 1 and 2 is going to be at E3RPS posted:Bruner: We have a piece of content that’s coming out real soon, that we’re announcing at E3. It’s a much more overt way of telling interactive stories. It’s not a beat. It’s not an act. It’s a whole piece of content that’s about doing this kind of unusual thing. http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/201...dy/#more-153437
