Maledict posted:http://www.coolorus.com/ This thing is great! There is also a third alternative which is free, and is a bit more stable than Anastasiy's Magic Picker: Len White's Painter's Wheel I don't know if this one works in CS6, though.

Here's a site which accomplishes something I'd been looking for: aggregating an endless scrolling page of Flickr photos according to search terms. http://www.flickriver.com/

I don't know if you're asking about calligraphy or what, but omniglot.com has pretty much everything as far as writing system reference.

Art folks who are familiar with Gnomon and Schoolism should know about the Society of Visual Storytelling. They have really good classes and are adding more at an alarming speed. You can buy the classes a la carte or do an all-you-can-eat subscription for pretty reasonable rates considering the quality and breadth of subject matter. Courses are focused on illustration as opposed to concept art or game art. They also have a forum with monthly challenges and critiques. Highly recommended all around!

I've heard good things about Watts Atelier. They have an online program that's supposed to be similar to the in person course.
