ILLUSTRATION Dunno if anyone's heard of Lost and Taken, but it's a free high resolution textures site that my Illustration teacher is always yelling about. http://lostandtaken.com/ Also I'm not sure if this would be accepted or not, but I found a blog with tons of (admittedly beefcake) male models posing, most show in B/W. It's very handy for illustrators, I gotta say. And there's quite a few good poses in there that are pretty artsy. http://malemodelsvintagebeefcake.blogspot.com/ EDIT: Oh god. How could I forget this. http://todaysinspiration.blogspot.com/ Today's Inspiration is one of, if not THE, best blogs for illustration from the 40's to the 60's. Almost every week there's a new artist being spotlighted, with high-res photos of his work posted. It's basically Mecca for illustrators. I highly recommend this. EDIT: Got another: http://gurafiku.tumblr.com/ Gurafiku is a collection by Ryan Hageman of the history of Japanese graphic design. Pretty cool stuff here, a great source of inspiration. cloudsoda fucked around with this message at 16:59 on Oct 24, 2012 |
