I've been trying to get the game to work for about an hour now, is it straight up broken right now for most people? I got the walking around in an empty field bug. Beyond that, I've been waiting for the server to "respond" for far too long usually, upward of 10 minutes... is this normal or arma2 or dayz?

First game: After wondering in the woods for 2 hours with only a makorav with 8 bullets, I chanced upon a barn, a glorious barn filled with hundreds of shotgun shells in a barn loft. I dropped most of what I had, stocked up on slugs, then proceeded down the stairs, only to fall and break my legs instantly with no way to repair them. I proceeded to slowly bleed to death crawling in the middle of the road. I'd rate this experience 5/5

Somebody DOES have film of the goon firing line, it was the BEST thing I have seen in this mod so far.

New update coming, 1.7, it will allegedly make loading times "near instant", which I hardly doubt will come true. Yes, the beta patch works with steam. For some reason people need a batch or something? I have both Arma2 and OA on steam, and I dont need to do anything beyond running the installer then clicking the handy shortcut it makes for me. I think most people's problems come from mixing box copies with steam copies, although I'm not sure about that. Plus side to beta patch: Dont need steam to run, which is handy if you happen to share accounts with Steam like I do

Goonvoy was the best tonight, very fun to actually drive around and not walk for 30 minutes to every destination. It was great until I got banned for "script detected", guess I need to turn off my leet hacks. Stupid loving battle eye

I only asked how to start the engine because I ONLY fly in the armory, where it spawns it already started :/ To be fair, I put in like 10 hours of practice solely on the UH helicopter so I would have a good feel for its controls, however I clipped a tree RIGHT after I lifted off and flipped over, not much could have been done in my defense . At least I killed hamburgers truck

I mean, he had an assault rifle, a revolver, and several types of food. I guess desperation made him take that chance, but I'm glad he ran into me rather than the fellow I'm about to describe. I'm curious how he didnt notice you? I continuously look around while running and moving around so I can avoid people like you while I'm on my murder sprees

Whats the rationalization to take away server wide chat? How else will we be able to lure/stalk people to their doom if we cant get them to unwittingly give us their location?
