Checking in for a bit of advice. I'm looking to sell (or trade I suppose) My Superlative Famous Fabrics Quad (Lafleur, Dionne, Martin, and O'Reilly) its 8/9 and I have no idea what a reasonable price for it is. Any ideas? Here is my Geoffrion collection as it sits today, sorry for the lovely cell phone pic, I'm still waiting on at least 4 more cards that are in transit.

I don't know what it is worth, but don't put it up for auction whatever you do. You will get screwed on the soft market. I would list it BINobo for $80 and see what offers roll in.

I saw a guy searching through all the artifacts packs at target today for the fat ones, I hope he enjoys his $40 stack of decoys and single lame jersey. Is there honestly ever a decent hit in the retail packs or is this guy just removing any chance of a little kid getting a white jersey swatch from his favorite 3rd pairing d-man for no reason?

Got the games today  anotherblownsave rules and he is going to have some cards comin his way. Highlights include both Contras, all 3 Turtle games, Metriod. Ninja Gaiden 3, Zelda and Kirby. There is a lot more than that though. System should come today or tomorrow, can't wait to try them  Thanks again!

NES is the best  Is Battletoads in there? Beating that may be the pinnacle of my childhood existence. Also, prepare to get pissed off as hell at the underwater level of TMNT 1, then laugh at how easy TMNT 2 is in comparison.

Here's my best hockey retail pull: Pulled out of one of those 8 packs for $10 things at Target a few years ago. I have no idea why it books for $175. My best ever retail pull was a LeBron auto out of 05-06 Hardcourt.

Blades of Steel is in there as well as Ice Hockey. Now to choose between Skinny, Normal and Fat guys. Also TMNT 1 is a bit overrated in hardness. The Dam level is hard but beatable on the first try if you know what you are doing. Some games are just unfair hard. Like Ghosts N Goblins or Mickey Mousecapades.

Dark you ever get the yotes cards? Also, went to MSG today for the ranger game. Holy gently caress east coast venues are awesome. I'm going to be drafting the rangers a lot more. tickets are also loving crazy expensive but it was totally worth it.

A good pack searcher can tell the difference between a decoy and a real hit. Sticker autos can also be located. I've never scored anything super neat out of retail for hockey, but I have on baseball, particulairly repacks. Once a 25 dollar investment got me two relics and an auto out of 11 packs. I even bought one of those "guarnteed auto" things on a whim last weekend and ended up with a rookie auto of someone who actually isn't totally forgettable.
