Is it just me or do bad guys light you up pretty quick even on medium? I constantly find myself out of painkillers because I'm losing all my health in about 4 shots. However I gotta say that I love the last stand thing. Much cooler way to use a painkiller.

What loadouts have you guys used once you unlocked them? I tried 1911 and PT92 but I was less than impressed with dual-wielding them, seemed like I was always getting slaughtered by dudes with AKs or Mini30s. Is leveling up a weapon just the 50 kill grinds that are listed?

I know I'm not the only one that lets Max die on purpose because I wasn't satisfied with my most recent killing spree. Of course when I finally do get a great combo of melee, last stand and head shots, it cuts to the kill cam because I just took a bullet to the face.

I had to start over on easy like some sort of plebe. I've found it pretty unforgiving so far. Even with liberal us of cover / bullet time / shootdodge I was getting poo pushed in on a regular basis on the default difficulty setting with expert aim.

Yeah, there have been several sections I've had to replay a few times because I just didn't have enough health/ammo and I was outnumbered. Fortunately, the more times you die/restart at a checkpoint, the more ammo/health/painkillers the game gives you on your next try

I'm regularly killing everything at medium range in 1-2 hits before they can get a shot off because how effective it is. The only problem I'm having right now is no one else uses any of the shotguns which mean I can often run low on ammo from time to time, and looting bodies as you know is not the most reliable of ways to scavenge ammo. That's good to hear. loving nobody would use the m500, I requested on streams like a zillion times, so I couldn't get an idea of how good or bad it was in MP. I also couldn't see what attachments it has available to it but one of them was called the Gas Block and adds a ton of range to the shotgun and i'm looking forward to that. :> My first plan when I get the game and get in mp and can start makin my own loadouts is to make a dude with an m500, balaclava and urban camo and just sneak up on fools and shotty them. Hopefully I can retain lightweight at that amount but medium doesn't seem tooooo restricting in this. edit: Just and FYI to 360 players: Down on the d-pad apparently flips you 180 if you gotta turn on some fools. I'm worried about the golden guns, cause I think they're ugly as gently caress, yet I like to collect stupid poo poo in games. I hope there is an option to turn them off. Yes, there is a way to turn the gold texture off (it also removes any other model changes, such as the extended mags sticking out of the PT92s).

I'm loving this game, it's hard as nails on medium, especially since there is no regenerating health. Which is loving awesome, it's nice to play a game without it. Everything about it is perfect except the cover system (is there some way to slip around corners still pressed against the wall i'm missing?) Other than that I have zero complaints. In my mind bullet time is the few moments Max can shake himself out of his drug fueled haze and act like he could in his prime, before the years of booze and pills took hold.

Just started Disc 2, I've already taken a liking to baldy Max despite hating the look in all the preview coverage, definitely gives off a Walter White vibe, too bad he loses the aviators so soon. Does anyone know if Arcade mode skips the cutscenes? It'd be pretty weird to have them play when the point is to speedrun the levels, though they did the same thing in 1&2 and those did have them.

And you can't skip them until its done loading in the background, which often takes most of the cutscene.

Overall, I found the single player disappointing.

The fact of the matter is they don't need to be accurate in their depiction of guns; they just need to give them the appearance of realism to make them convincing. I'm at what must be near the end of the game, but fighting Becker is an utter pain in the rear end, I effortlessly headshot each wave of goons I can manage to get up to in a single bullet time burst but then just end up getting blown up, and there seems to be no obvious tell for when I should be expecting the explosive to be coming at me. I'm playing on Hard, is there something I'm missing here? Or is really just this much of a pain in the rear end, nothing else in the game was really that difficult, besides this one point.

Okay it doesn't happen every match but I'm seeing more and more of that invincible player bullshit in multiplayer. Really fucks up gang wars when someone unstoppable can bomb defuse, bag carry and approach a marked target. I'm on PS3 and I have no idea how to report people. Not to be a huge crybaby or anything. Otherwise multiplayer is way more fun than I expected. **EDIT** There are other glitches in multiplayer like checkpoints not capturing even if your entire team is sitting on them. Okay, I'm stuck somewhere. Not because of difficulty, but really, I don't know what to do. Chapter 3 or 4 I think, flashback how you meet Raul Passos. I get out the bar fine, over the roofs, then into the burnt appartment building. I kill everyone inside, Raul stands on a balcony with a fire exit and says: 'We've got to get down on the streets, what are you waiting for'. Problem is, he's blocking the entrance... I've tried killing everyone and rushing to get there first, but I just die if I head downstairs. Is Raul standing there a glitch? Or do I have to find another way?

Just finished the game. Pretty awesome, but the finale was a bit disappointing, just a really straight forward killing spree. Would've liked a bit more plot at the end. Also, (spoiler about clues you can find trough the levels): what is up with the ex-cop you keep finding? I thought he would turn out to be a member of the ufe or something, but at the end nothing really happens with this guy?
