Scottish wrestler Nikki Storm (who won the Queen of the Ring tournament at Pro Wrestling EVE's iPPV earlier this year) has just written a blog over at Ringbelles on being a female wrestler on the independent scene. I actually read a (not very serious) article on this the other day and one of their suggestions was Lana which made some sense, especially if she takes a year or so to come up to WWEquote:WWE’s penchant for giving the girls one word names will continue on with Lana! We envision Lana pretty much just being The Queen of Wrestling, except her name is Lana. Why Lana? Kay Lee Ray has come on a lot recently. I saw her wrestle Mickie James earlier in the year up in Scotland and she didn't look out of place. And she became one of the regular girls at my local indie where she's had some really hard hitting matches. I think she'll do well in Japan, she's not afraid of going stiff or diving out of the ring, and she looks really distinctive with her red hair. Heard a couple people talking about how awful he is, even though they put on decent shows. I wouldn't buy Girl's Night Out or AIW shows to support him. There was a picture a girl had posted of him grabbing girls or motorboating them, but I don't remember who posted it.
