No, they don't. But the state does, and sometimes they put them online. I checked the 20 first on the list.
The ones that are skipped here are either gone from the public listings (I guess it means they've been released) or they are incarcerated in states that do not put inmate photos online, such as California and Texas (or they are federal prisoners). I wouldn't have expected that from Texas, but hey, even they have to get something right.

Here is Maeghan Rice (#2):

#3 Jessica McKay

#4 Carmen Lewis

#6 Andrea McCormick

#7 Sara Horne

#10 Jenny Decoteau

#13 Crystal Clamenza

#14 Elizabeth Lambright

#17 Rebecca Flanagan

#19 Crystal Babbitts

#20 Miranda Dalton

If you want to look up inmates, just copy the number after their names on meet-an-inmate.com, see which state they're in, and google for "<state name> inmate search" or something like that. Screenshot what you find, and upload to your favourite image host.
If their number looks like #xxxxx-xxx, you can probably give up. That's a federal inmate ID, and the BOP doesn't publish inmate pictures, just the locaton of their inmates. Or, to be precise: I haven't found any pictures.

The Holmes County times-advertiser lists the following next to her name: "drugs deliver/distribute, trafficking in meth". And she's a federal inmate, so no current picture available
This is seriously really creepy, dude.

The girl you meet at the bar?

She could have done anything that these girls have and may just have not gotten caught yet.

Some of them, however, don't really deserve to be set free, though.

I phrased things poorly. I probably should have made the links and comments about those girls in a different post.

The strippers should definitely be set free. I'd be more than happy to take them in.

Criminal trials are generally a matter of public record, so consent doesn't enter into it.

Most county jails have a website where you can view CURRENT INMATES, which is basically so you can check if your loved ones or friends are in there. There are some websites out there that scrape data from those sites and stores the inmate photo and name, because as soon as you are released from the jail, they take down the info. They don't post anything other than booking photo, name, charges, and bail.

Prison's are different but I know at least in Kansas you can view inmate transfer records and also what crimes they are accused of while actually being an inmate in the prison.

edit ^^^ Also what the guy above me said.

And ultimately, I don't think it matters much. People have been elected as politicians and presidents when the public was fully aware of their criminal behavior in the past.

People care, but they don't really care if the people making their laws are corrupt.

I'm not sure if it would be really worth it to write to these ladies, to be honest. They'll probably get out and go live with the biggest guido they can find, and she'll be back in prison before you can say "He didn't tell me he was a cop when I propositioned him for sex!"

VVVVV - It could be worse, I suppose. Imagine if your brother was arrested, tried and convicted in a secret trial, was tossed in a prison, and you never knew because they never published his info and deleted all evidence that he ever existed?

I think they did something similar to that in the USSR...

The identity theft was apparently a prior crime she had an outstanding warrant for. At least that's what I surmised from this article.

Yes, please don't complain about some creep looking through an inmate dating website, compiling a list about it for people to vote on, and having it posted on SA to make fun at people who have made mistakes just because the info is public.

Like I understand and somewhat agree with keeping LF or D&D style posting at a minimum in GBS but this thread is bad and should be done away with. Maybe write these people supportive and encouraging letters, I'm sure they'd appreciate that after all the sex soliciting mail they get.

Nah, it's cool, sometimes goons are also creepy in other threads and look up people's facebooks and poo poo. Don't white knight.

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to google the names of over 50 random women that I don't know so that I can see what they look like without makeup, what their crime was, and more. It's not creepy, it's just research.

People that have been put in prison give up certain rights. One of those is the right to not have everybody know how they hosed up.

Besides, if they really didn't want people to know what was going on with them, would they be on a dating site for inmates?

^^ In all honesty, probably not. I want to have kids someday, and I don't want their mother to already have known proclivities towards that sort of thing.

Not to mention it would raise some questions. I know if someone has kids and is convicted on child porn charges, they almost always lose custody. What if they're convicted, do their time, register as a sex offender, and THEN miraculously find someone with whom they procreate? How is the custody situation handled?

I wouldn't be surprised if they would. What a lot of these guys are looking for are damaged, socially exiled and therefore desperate women, so major or disturbing crimes would probably be a draw. It's just the most pathetic, and dating sites should be prohibited from GBS threads to spare us the grief.
