I only vaguely heard about it, but wasn't the Male Barbarian originally going to be the same Male Barbarian from Diablo 2, until someone bitched about it? Even though I only barely heard about it, it still irritates me. I liked being a little bit  to my friends, pointing out how their characters from D1 were mini-bosses in D2 (Blood Raven and The Summoner), whereas my character was the friggin end-boss.
