It's a bug and blizz knows about it, they're probably just busy fixing the gold issue.

Can't they just blacklist the dude and ban him whenever he shows up or something? At least show that they're not willing to tolerate poo poo like this ever again or something?

What poo poo? He figured that they'd be rolling everything back. He started way after everything had already gone to poo poo. A dude who duped a few bill and so he could laugh online about buying terrible legendaries for TWO BEEZ, thinking they'd be rolling everything back like any sane person would. Inigo rules and has a cool dog.

Ah, so it wasn't a Kripp-GW2 situation? My bad, I assumed he made the exploit public by streaming it and feeding the fire, sorry.

Nah there were already a TON of people doing it, and other streamers brought it out first. The b-net forums just REALLY had inigo right now for some reason hahaha.

Making an assumption of a roll back was his mistake. Also, Blizzard sent emails to top D3 streamers specifically telling them NOT to stream exploits or face the ban hammer. He was probably high when he read the email (if he did at all) and already forgot but he streamed the exploit to thousands, got banned. He was also taunting with fake ban screenshot he had as his background.

He thought he was invincible from a ban, violated ToS even when Blizzard told him specifically there would be zero tolerance... He deserves his accounts being banned.

He deserved the ban, I agree. But it's also loving funny. He doesn't expect to be unbanned, and is enjoying playing. TWO BEEZ. SNIPED. DONE !!

The best part about Inigo is how very punchable his face looks. He kinda looks like a Mexican Theon Greyjoy. I can dig that.

If Blizzard started permabanning people they would lose too much profit. A banned streamer will just pay/have somebody pay $ and that's good enough. It wouldn't be wise of Blizzard to not only deprive themselves from profit but also waste resources on tracking reregs.

EVE online does it. If you RMT or bot a lot they perma ban your accounts and all accounts tied to the IP address and ban you based on your hardware profile if you try to come back and they are a much smaller company. Should be no reason why Blizzard can't have the same stance.

So I wanted to buy some gold and saw it's like, ~$2 for ~8 million gold. It's also about $2 for 2 Radiant Star Rubies which sell for ~28 million gold each. This is probably SUPER old news for most of you guys but I just discovered this (saw someone post a hint about this a couple of pages back I think). Seems like if you knew what to look for you could take that gold, buy good items and then sell those for cash.

Yeah that's the standard way to go.

Speaking of radiant star rubies, could someone tell these idiots to stop making them? They're driving the cost of flawless squares through the goddamn roof, and are selling at a 3m loss at the radiant star level now. At 17k a goddamn flawless square, why would you even consider making the radiant stars?

I suspect people are buying flawless squares in order to make the next level up gem to then make amulets and thats how the price is being driven up past the point of economically making higher level gems.

I'd guess that the only people buying in sizes large enough to drive the price up that much are the people making radiant stars, because that takes 729 a pop.

You could buy 1bil for $20 on playerauctions like last week. Check that place if you're trying to buy some gold. It's pretty legit.

I'd be all about this if I wasn't so afraid of being banned.

I've got my WoW account tied to the same B.Net account and I'd hate to get poo poo on over some dumb diablo gold.

POINTS

They only ban the d3 part of your battle net account, at least that's what happened to me when I was botting the auction house at release. I'd say just use playerauctions, it's much cheaper than buying gold from blizzard.
