They should script one of those glass spheres to close in on the center of the map every break so the map gets more and more claustrophobic If you would be outside the bounds of the new sphere it teleports you towards the center

Have any of the players said anything about when season 8 will be released yet? This was a fun season all in all. I think the duos are the most enjoyable. And since people tend to duplicate aspects of the winning teams' tactics, I expect next season to end up with people making actual defensive structures near 0,0. If so, next season's probably going to go rather fast since locating and fighting will be easier - just run towards the center and look for small forts.

I wasn't really entertained by nebris/just_d3fy at all. Most of the other groups are good at maintaining some sense of tension or some comedic interest. nebris/just_d3fy seemed boring. They might as well have spent all the episodes branch mining without mic's on. I share similar dislike of Pyro, who spent the first episode disgorging his twitter feed and facebook wall to Baj. Nonetheless, great season and good ending.

Baj is like twice as old as Pyro.... they made a fine team all told, but many times it did seem like Baj was just tolerating Pyro as he rambled on. After the first two episodes or so, Pyro calmed down a lot due to it being like 2am. I'd really like to see Beef and Baj team up. Which, with Milbee being around to team with Pause, seems plausible. And yeah... nebris. He was so dominating over JD. And Nebris just has no microphone sense. MCgamer (who I also dislike) recently posted a video of him, Arkas and Nebris pranking Etho. I watched because I was intrigued to see not only the prank, but also to hear Arkas.. who has a great voice. But Nebris wouldn't shut up about his loving chicken... like... would.not.shut.up. I finally turned off the video in disgust. Nebris and MC should team up... then i could easily ignore that whole team. Nebris makes me like Pause. And I used to hate Pause.

I really don't understand how one would hate or even dislike any of them. I mean poo poo, its just nerds playing computergames on youtube, and none of them seem like terrible people or anything. With all that said, I definately DO like guude , b00 and kurt. They all seem pretty entertaining people.

I guess the biggest issue with who was entertaining to watch vs not was the chemistry between the people. I think Nebris and Just_d3fy didn't have it, same with Baj and Pyro, everyone else seemed like friends having a good time and enjoying themselves.

BDoubleO and Kurt are really mellow guys on their own (and both pretty clean profanity wise), and I would expect that when they get together. BDoubleO gets excited by himself etc, and when him and Guude get together they build off each other a lot and end up screaming a lot and cursing up a storm.

Guude and BDouble0 are a pretty amusing combo, because Guudes a fairly straight down the line kind of guy, and BDouble0 is completely hilarious when he gets going. So Guude kind of provides a straight-man foil for BDouble0 to be a nutter and the chemistry really works well. Its a pretty classic way of making a funny person funnier (think Dean martin and jerry lewis as the classic version of it). It didn't really matter that Guude and BDouble0 completely flubbed their run this time around, they where fun to listen to.

Nebris seems like an okay guy but I have to second the fact that he sounds like some dude you'd play counterstrike against. Also he has nasally, congested sound to his voice that reminds me of being sick and its hard to stomach. He might benefit from getting a mic stand instead of a headset. I have been watching a lot of the 'core' groups videos and I have to admit at first I was skeptical but a couple of them have won me over. Kurt seems like a real nice guy, Guude, BOO, and Etho videos are just full of them laughing which is always fun, and Pause and Beef have a pretty good chemistry and I wish they'd just do videos together because Pause is a lot easier to stomach when he's not trying too hard and just having fun. oddeye fucked around with this message at Jun 21, 2012 around 00:11 |

I think the biggest game changer in 1.3 will be the trading system, a lot of villagers can give gold bars. I could see people trying to defend towns while they hunt for emeralds.
