3D movies are the dumbest fad since pull-ups.

Glad to see you're doing well I was just eyeing your log and wondering about you yesterday. http://www.timeanddate.com tells me you'll be fine and dandy if you set your Fitbit to Japan time.

Japan time was perfect! Thank you!

Oh my god. I am dying. The soreness. It never goes away. I was thinking the other day how excited I was when I first started walking for weight loss to have walked 100 miles in my first month. And now I'm walking that in a week. My inner thighs are finally losing some mass. It's the 700 squats a night. At about 3am, it starts getting REALLY hard to get back upright after a squat. Total exhaustion, I guess.

Can we have some shoe talk? My New Balance 608s are fantastic shoes. But they are heavy. And they are wonderfully comfy for 5-8 miles and then they just hurt. The toe box is too big. Which is good because it accommodates the inevitable swelling, but I think it's still too big. So I went and bought some Brooks Ghost 5s (we get a HUGE discount on items returned to the warehouse that can't be returned to the shelves. For shoes, if there is any dirt at all on the sole, it can't be resold so I got them for ~$40). They felt AMAZING when I tried them on. They are truly the most comfy shoe that has ever graced my foot. But after about 10 miles, my feet hurt even WORSE than with the NBs! Does a shoe exist for extreme walkers? Ideally, I'd like something lighter than the NBs (the Ghosts were super light!), but still has plenty of springy cushion in the heels. Neither pair does much for the ball of my foot. I just really need a comfy pair of shoes. With all my assorted aches and pains, I'd like my feet to be less of an issue.

Here's my fitbits for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights:

I am so tired. No mandatory overtime this week, so yay for 3 days off after I get done with tonight. I can't wait. My body is demanding recovery time!

Dang, woman, that is some walking!!! How are you doing? Are you getting a little used to the long days? Did you find better shoes? Maybe try looking at like, nursing shoes or chef shoes or something that is designed for people who work on their feet all day? Or hiking boots/shoes?

You are awesome.
