Possibly Suits best episode so far. Louis was great, Mike got t-boned by Harvey and they are still showing Daniel as not being evil, just trying to win cases. The banter between Mike & Grandma just sealed the deal.

Really enjoying season 2. I like that Donna is getting more airtime. I wonder if Mike will eventually spill the beans and tell Rachel his secret? Also, I think Mike learned more about Harvey and his willingness to win at any cost, even if he is in the middle.

The banter between everyone was excellent, and there were a lot of great character moments for everyone. But I especially loved Louis in this episode, since he had an opportunity to really shine as being super competent, instead of just being dickish. Hardman is also playing with my expectations a lot, since the show is really painting Harvey and Jessica as just major dicks. There has literally been no reason for us, the audience, to doubt Hardman's sincerity except Jessica and Harvey's reactions, which is refreshing from having someone who is overtly manipulative. Hell, even the Mike and Rachel moments were really good and not too heavy-handed. And unsurprisingly, there was no hint of Travis.

I am starting to foresee Suits Season 3: Jessica, Harvey & Mike ...and a fight between Hardman and Pearson to promote Louis to Sr. Partner and have their vote on managing partner in their pocket. Right now Louis can't vote, I don't think.

It seems like any other show would have them get together and then the constant tension of 'will she find out?' and him feeling guilty. Then she'd eventually find out and they'd string out how hurt she is he lied to her and how she 'can't trust him' for episode after episode. He actually did the right thing by breaking up with her instead of entering into a relationship with lies between them and the show has been able to put a different kind of tension in the mix.

I get the feeling the midseason finale will somehow involve Hardman's daughter. They showed her in the premiere and did nothing with her, which seems like they were laying the groundwork there for something. I think Hardman also casually mentioned her last episode. This is a theory based on two episodes, but I would be surprised if they don't involve her in a plotline.

In the first episode it's mentioned that she'll be going to Harvard (Law?) this season, so it shouldn't be too hard for Mike to get asked to 'show her around' or something. She'll either figure out that he was never there due to him not being in a yearbook or something like that, or they'll fall for each other and something happens there.

Man, I just burned through this in like a week (though I'm still not caught up on the most recent episodes). A really, really interesting show, minus the parts about Mike's love life. I do not give a poo poo who you want to bang, son. Send Rachel and blondie to Siberia and up Donna and Jessica's screen time, please.

Rachel was a cool character until they made her entire plot the UST about three episodes before the end of last season.

Yeah that's true, Rachel as a person was pretty rad. Rachel as the sex object of Mike's desire is lame. She can stay if she tells Mike to take a long walk off a short pier.

If they'd just put them together at the end of season one she could be back to being awesome again. But no, we have to have characters exist in the shadow of this tired old cliche.

I will admit my absolute hypocrisy in that I'm dying to know what this mysterious past was with Donna and Harvey. But that's because Donna owns bones and would never consent to just be some dude's lovestruck gal.

While the relationship stuff is getting annoying I do have to agree with Harvey that telling Rachel is a really stupid idea. I mean, he let Trevor know and look what happened when that friendship blew up in his face.

New episode tonight. 2.04 - Discovery Travis Tanner is back in town and has his sights set firmly on Harvey. His accusations motivate Jessica and Harvey to be less than transparent with Hardman. Meanwhile, Louis and Mike find common ground, but Louis’ paranoia might derail a budding friendship and his own standing at the firm.

Are Harvey and Hartmann on the same level? I was under the impression that Hartmann was higher on the totem pole, but Harvey seems too antagonistic for that. I hate this bastard Travis, hopefully the surprise is that he gets run over by Harvey's limo.
