My guess is that they just show up and say "let's play X" today and then play it or don't - checking out their setlists they haven't played either in the last few shows, but they also haven't played a ton of tour dates this month and took most of the month off and did the charity show in London, etc.

yaaaay, we got it in Tampa Also, aside from Animals, the 2nd Law stuff is much, much better live.

EDIT: Also the wub-wub bass drop during "Follow Me" is goddamn unreal and I don't know how it didn't damage the building somehow.

Detroit got Map, Hysteria, and Sunburn in place of Animals and Plug in Baby. Anyone know what the voice over thing they've been playing over Isolated System is? Is it just supposed to be cool sounding conspiracy stuff?

Here comes the hook.

Chicago got the same set as Detroit, save Animals in place of Maps, which I previously would have not been too happy with, but they loving *turned out* Animals, so it was all good. The show pretty much confirmed what I thought the first few times I listened to 2nd Law - OK album, will be loving amazing live. Only minor disappointment was I thought they'd take Panic Station to the Hysteria-Knights canon-level performance, and it was probably the most straight-forward bit of the night.

I don't know what recording they're using, but it's talking about number stations.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY JESUS!!!

Anybody heading to the free show tomorrow night in Atlanta?

Muse goes on at 8:30, after Ludacris and Flo Rida. Should be interesting.

This is from the Atlanta show and it's kind of funny. Just after the 3 minute mark in Follow Me, the arena's sound system cut out. The band takes it pretty well.

That second bass drop will do that.

Surprised they're doing Gwinnett Arena again; that place is small as far as arenas go.

I really just do not understand what happened to them after Absolution. It's like night and day.

Yes well that's more or less the worst music video I've ever seen.

I love how all the top comments are pointing out how insanely stupid it is to use the rising sun flag. I mean the whole video is basically WACKY ASIANS to begin with and then you leave that in as the topper.

The performance part of the video actually works very well with the song on a visual level, since it's just as gaudy and over the top. But everything else...
