SUPER pleased to see a new Monstergeddon forums update today. These articles are fantastic and I'm a little ashamed to say that I've become emotionally invested in the plight of poor Howard over the years! Keep up the great work!

Is it weird that I'm actually, honestly relieved that Horde didn't take over the boards?

Is Howard just dense, or is he ignoring the fact that those 'faggy' vampire books he was talking about have werewolves in them, too?

I'd bet he doesn't count them as 'true' werewolves, those jerks are pretty much canis latrans. Canis lupus supremacy.

At least ZomFan has his priorities straight.

Every Monstergeddon is constantly Christmas for me. These are all fantastic and I really get caught up in the mythos of these stories.

What happens if your sire's sire gets got? Does the humanification cascade down the hierarchy?

Krinkle posted:What happens if your sire's sire gets got? Does the humanification cascade down the hierarchy? Depends. It could be the kind of vampirism where only master vampires can make more vampires, and master vampires are strong enough to survive the loss of their sire. Dracula could make more vampires, but his brides just kinda hung around and ate babies. Depending on his variety of vampirism Dracoola may be in for a disappointment. If power is linked to age, not blood, he may have been more powerful as a 100 year old vampire than he will be as a brand new vampire. In most stories vampires get stronger with age. He should adjust faster than a normal person, but it will still be like going through puberty again. His new master may expect more from him than his previous maker, too.

In most stories vampires get stronger with age. Would this really be the case? He's 100 years old, so technically he'd be a 100 year old vampire if he we returned.

It's not the monsters that make it funny, as great as they are. Miller could create a fake forum about trainspotters and it would be equally as entertaining.
Kevin DuBrow fucked around with this message at Feb 25, 2013 around 00:09 |
