Does anyone remember the video of some school students in a music rehearsal room recording a song? I can't remember if the song was original or a cover, but I believe it was the latter. There are more than 5 kids, all in the same room, and the video is a sort of montage of all of them creating the song.

bowser posted:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PglfNDepTyQ Unfortunately this isn't it. It wasn't a commercial production. The video was a montage of them actually producing/recording the song. They have a microphone in the middle of the room and different kids are singing at different times in the song. I'm pretty sure it was for a college project of some kind.

That Youtube user (AndyRehfeldt) who puts together the Metal versions of songs did a Maroon 5 one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGFr06O3hwc I've probably listened to it 4 times today. I really enjoy the marriage of heavy(ish) instrumental with not-so-heavy vocals. Are there any other bands I should check out that sound like this? First band that comes to mind is Audioslave, but their vocals are a bit heavier than this.

I came across this today - it's a song created by mashing up sounds from the Transformers TV series from the 80s. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXd-1SqnnrA Aside from being (What I consider to be) a decent song, the nostalgia factor is through the roof, since I can recognise where individual sounds came from for a lot of it.

What confuses me more (But perhaps there is a simple explanation) is that some videos just don't show up in search results on mobile devices. It's not that you can view them and it gives you an error message. You search for them and it's not in the results, when it IS on a PC.

Captain Invictus posted:EVO came and went this year, and in the Marvel Versus Capcom 3: Ultimate Losers Bracket Quarterfinals was not only an incredible matchup with two of the best fighting game players in the world, but ALSO is perhaps the most hype fighting game match ever. This was my first "paid" EVO(bought the HD stream) and I was literally on the edge of my seat for most of this showdown. Nice to see someone break ChrisG's soul fist barrage, even if it did take Justin a while. FirstPlayer posted:As someone who rarely plays fighting games, Morrigan seems like an obnoxious piece of poo poo to play against. I don't play fighting games either, but I've watched a lot of UMVC3 matches, and I rarely see any strategies which work well against ChrisG's Morrigan. It's kind of a shame as a spectator because the grand final for any tournament he's a part of in the New York area is usually quite boring to watch.

This almost makes me want to learn how to play this game because that was a lot of fun to watch but I know playing as a newbie and this is not even close to the same. I love the chaos and I love how Morrigan just shuts down Storm and it is really weird because most games have a counter for every character. Morrigan just seems like an rear end in a top hat. You might also enjoy the Grand Finals for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AriD9bcUHUQ Also, even though there's a LOT going on while you're playing, I've heard that Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is one of the easier mainstream competitive fighting games to get into. Street Fighter 4 seems simpler, but as far as I know there's far more intricacy to it. But I say this as someone who tried to get into uMVC3 and had problems. The problem with Morrigan is that she continues to collect meter when she's in mirror mode. So any fireball that hits while she's spitting out twice as many add to her meter, and she can just re-start the special as soon as it's over assuming she got enough meter while fireballing. So basically she can do the double fireballs from both directions, endlessly. Seems like a bit of an oversight to me.

The only thing missing, I think, is that porn features a lot of positions which take the camera into consideration, and which probably aren't very comfortable for most people. Then again, it'd be hard to illustrate that with vegetables. Also I'm surprised at how cringe-worthy a lot of those images were, even though they weren't inherently sexual. Banana in chocolate spread was a bit disgusting.
