On that note, what's that site that has a lot of videos like that? I remember they've got sections on Syria and Afghanistan. I think their logo has rounded corners, and the site has a red/burgundy colourscheme. For the life of me I can't remember the name even though it's an easy one.

Does anyone else use the Youtube app from the google play store? They changed it recently and it's introduced redundant extra clicks. I don't understand what it's trying to add, apart from wasted time.

Assuming we have the same version, it now offers picture in picture! Which I'll likely never use, but it really cool nonetheless.

But which, when you've finished watching a video, lingers on as you browse through others, even though you pressed the back arrow to return to the browsing section from the watching section.

Now, it isn't youtube, but I figured people might like to see it, esp. considering that Redline trailer put up earlier, but the trailer for the new Godzilla is out on Vimeo. You will want to keep the volume down for it.

I don't think the audio used there is very tactfully chosen. It fits, but it's Dr J. Robert Oppenheimer reflecting on the development of nuclear weapons, and the grave implications it had for humanity. Here it is in full.

I figured this is a good place to ask:

Youtube forgets what videos I've watched, it seems, after a while has passed. Probably so they don't have to store that information forever.

If I've watched, say, 40 videos in a playlist before, and want to come back to it and find out where to pick up again, is there an easy way to do that? I'd rather not take a guess, watch some videos, see if they seem familiar, and then go from there.

But the handy "Watched" label has disappeared from all of them.

If it's on a browser, just load up the playlist and see which links are followed, perhaps? If it works it'd be easy.

What with all the discussion about music taste, this seems appropriate:

Now you too can own the music behind Henry's Kitchen.
