Hey since we're discussing court stuff now I can post my little story about how I got on the front page of the Chattanooga Times Free Press. Basically, the Hamilton County Commission is opening their meetings with a prayer specifically in Jesus's name and a friend of mine is suing them to replace it with a moment of silence. They've refused and have continued with the prayer despite repeated letters from the Freedom From Religion Foundation and also residents of Hamilton County. They're being represented by the Alliance Defense Fund (who just changed their name apparently) which is an extreme right wing group trying to keep prayer in schools and the Christian God in government.

That's the backstory. I was reading to them this blog post by a local Christian activist which basically called them out on not being Christ-like. I got all the way to the end and they decided to cut me off. I was two sentences from finishing and I was pissed at them cutting me off even though I had plenty of time, so I continued on and this happened:

The day after, I got the newspaper and am shocked to find this on the very front page. I've been keeping up with the suit but haven't gotten myself escorted out again. It was pretty surprising.

Unlike ole Mos there, I had my large intestine removed due to ulcerative colitis. I had a J-pouch procedure. When I had the JP drain removed from my gut (youtube that for even more greatness) it ruptured an abcess. Cue intensive care.

And cue the exact same procedure as ole Def went through.

I swallowed twice without a hint of anesthetic and it was done.

I gagged worse when it came out a week later than I did going down.

But hey, the video is effective for what it's worth and people are getting sucked into it. Congrats, Mos, on spreading disinformation and making people afraid of something that is really nothing.

And the Cash post was a comment on covers, not Pentatonix's ability. Cash's cover is by far the best ever done, to the point Reznor doesn't perform the song anymore because he's now covering Johnny Cash.

Anyway, Silva got taken down in the first round and took some seemingly nonchalant damage. But on second viewing, Weidman clocked him a few times more than Anderson would have liked down there and that put things into motion - Silva felt the ground game was doom and gloom, and a stand-up fight was necessary. So the goading to stay standing. Weidman, meanwhile, realized he could strike with Anderson given timing and range. He found both before Anderson did - and sooner than Anderson expected - resulting THAT.

Saturday night is going to be all about timing and range from the very get go. Whoever gets it first wins. Unless it goes to the ground...
