The problem with colorblindness is that that while race really is just a social construct, it's a social construct that has negatively affected large groups of people in easily quantifiable ways. Deciding to stop acknowledging the construct doesn't erase the damage it did while it was still acknowledged. If you suddenly say "Black people and white people are all just people, so no one refer to anyone as black or white", people who used to be called black would still be unfairly disadvantaged in society compared to people who used to be called white because by and large they'd come from more economically depressed backgrounds.

No other answer is possible, because when a White football player is timed at 4.66 in the 40, not only is he not allowed to play cornerback � supposedly manned by the fastest of the fast � but he is also barred from playing safety, running back, wide receiver, and sometimes even linebacker. Doak Walker Award winner Toby Gerhart ran a 4.53 at the 2010 Combine and the consensus among the draft �experts� was that he would have to be relegated to fullback. Poor Toby just didn�t have those �loose hips� that blacks are gifted with, a magical quality that conveniently can never actually be measured, only drooled over by White analysts and scouts.

We demand that Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, ESPN, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, Fox, the New York Times, the Washington Post, Morris Dees, and the rest of the pillars of this country�s gigantic Race Hustler/Cultural Marxist Axis begin an investigation into why black cornerbacks are becoming slower than White fullbacks.
