I had put the chicken away for a nice frozen winter's nap, but, there was a distinct lack of chickencheese in the house.
Into the tepid puddle machine at 148F (the kids think 146F is too "raw") for a nice 1 hour 45 minute chicken jacuzzi.
What have we here? Chicken stock made from the carcass and wings of the blissfully unaware chicken in the tepid puddle machine, reducing down a bit.
It's late fall in Iowa and the fettuccine tree is ready to shed its leaves.
All of chicken's friends have come over for dinner. Heavy whipping cream has a falling out with chicken after the cast photo and is replaced by white wine.
Mushrooms are sliced 1/4" thick, shallots are finely diced and garlic is minced.
Chicken gets a quick sear in butter and canola (also not part of cast photo). Mushrooms are seared off, set aside, then shallots and garlic are sauteed until soft and slightly browned. Chicken/mushroom/shallot/garlic/butter fond is deglazed with white wine and chicken stock and joined by a tag-along thyme sprig, while the fettuccine goes into the salted boiling water. Heat is turned down and cream cheese is whisked in and sauce is seasoned with salt and pepper. Thyme sprig is removed, mushrooms added back in, fettuccine is drained and added to the pan and heat is increased to full blast. Sauce and noodles are tossed until reduced to desired consistancy.
Plate mushroom/stock/cream cheese coated fettuccine with slices of chicken.
This looks pretty good, even if I don't normally go in for alfredo.

Of course, I just didn't want a dumb argument about past forums drama from nerds who can't have fun in a fun thread. The thread's in AI now though, you're at the whims of the car mods.
It's all hellaflushed donked out chickencheese from now on.
