So is the secret ending a joke? Because it's such an awful change in tone that I can't believe it's not meant as some kind of gently caress you to those people who cannot live with unresolved mysteries and must have a resolution to everything.
It's definitely a gently caress you.

I thought the secret ending was pretty badass. Kind of playing to an 80's Manchurian candidate type thing.

DO YOU LIKE GETTING OWNED????????

Yeah, the secret ending was interesting to anyone who even paid a little bit of attention to the newspaper clippings and stuff like that throughout the game. It's not like it just comes out of the blue.

In an interview with a French gaming site, the boss at Abstraction discussed some new features exclusive to the PS3 and Vita ports. Namely, PC-style lock-on via L1 or the touchscreen, Cross-Buy, Cross-Play... and online co-op!

The article apparently updated to say that online co-op was due to a mistranslation, and won't actually be featured in the game. I'd hope they'd drop a hard release date finally or something in it, because I've been dying to play and not sure if it would work well enough on my old rear end Macbook, but there's still nothing. They've got to be getting pretty close though.

Just got the game. It's...difficult to be sure, but it's kind of a funky cognitive dissonance: I'm getting a big thrill from success, but contemplating what the guy is doing and why is disturbing and sickening. I love it.

After the war of great troll, he only stands. He now returns to the legendary city to seek revenge on the death of his village. Episode 1: "Legendary School Girl Bubble Gum! Will Senpai Notice Me!?"

I wonder if it's a substitution cipher, as opposed to a scrambled phrase.

I'm leaning towards a cipher.

That or "The soulless blunderer's yell".

9500 YEARS CALL FOR DESTRUCTION

I want it to involve substituting the letter for the transliteration of the most similar looking cyrillic letter (like on the title screen) but that's just giving me nonsense so far

It's encrypted with a one-time pad generated by using the first letter of each unlockable mask! Now we just need to figure out the order...

THERE'S NO SUPERMAN HERE! AND THERE NEVER WAS, OKAY?

Given the pointlessness of the "secret ending" in Hotline Miami, I'd be willing to bet they're just random letters.

What is this, some kind of troll orgy?

I heard there's an extra bonus level after Highball that needs to be downloaded and added to the map files. Is this still true, or was this scrapped in favor of the DLC that turned into a sequel?

Yeah, "Exposed" was a preorder bonus, based on the expo HLM was demoed in.

You're not missing a lot.

Other than it being another job for the Biker? Not really. The story wouldn't change if it weren't in, but I do think it's a fun level.

Maybe he was willing to do it as a freebie because he thinks it must be one of the Russians always beating his Galaga high score.

Didn't it get mentioned recently that Hotline Miami 2 will take place in the early 90s? If so, I'm hoping for some Sega Genesis-style graphics. That'd be cool, is all.
