Anyone find the hit detection to be straight up random at times. I've lost track of how many times I've died despite what looked like a hit.

And whoever said the later levels become trial and error were dead on. Sometimes I can bash someones head in and not make a sound and other times half the room comes pouring it.

Sad as there is a lot of potential buried under all the bugs.

Once I got the Unicorn it was my jam. Gunshots not making noise (or it seems like they make less noise. But a lot less.) means you can pull off some straight up bullshit. Especially since enemy cannot "see" their buds dying. And enemies that take more then one shot with the AR do not respond to damage, meaning as long as there back is turned you can pump lead into them and they won't so much as blink.

Before that Ted (dog) is super useful but I played most of the early levels with the Owl until I figured out you could see the secrets without it.

I like loud gunshots because you can bait people with them and slaughter them en masse. It's very useful In the mafia Nightclub and Police station, where almost everyone has a gun.

I replayed the last bi and I still have no idea what the plot is. Or if there is one.

Incidently, what masks do people use? Tony (Cheetah/Fast Executions) and Ted (Dog/Dogs aren't hostile) are really useful. I want Don Juan (Horse/Lethal Doors) to be useful, but it never really seems to be.

I don't know if this is a bug or what, but when I use Tony 95% of my punches explode heads. I made it to chapter 12 before a CTD, and only had to even pick up weapons twice (Shooting dudes in the restaurant, and throwing a stick at the shotgun dude at the end of the hallway in the SWAT level).

Its fantastic. No flexibility points, but massive combos!

Also, I think I found the strategy guide:

It's amazing how fast this game takes a nose dive as the levels go on.

Vengeance and most of Answers are pretty good, imo. I'd suggest skipping trauma, but the bit after it is worth seeing.

Worth noting, I've been lucky enough to never have any bugs or glitches or anything.

Just finished the game, playing the whole thing with Tony. I'm not sure if it's a bug or not, but it let me punch dogs to death for some reason. I love the game, and it only really falters in three places for me: the loving van, the loving stealth section, and the loving "final boss"

Ending spoilers:

I wound up dropping the knives outside the office and waited for the woman with the eyepatch to crawl over the the side door before finishing her off. Then I threw the knives at the last guy while he reloaded.

Other than the parts that kinda suck, this is the game I've been waiting to play my whole life

edit: oh yeah, and the grindy achievements are completely bugged on Steam. According to the achievements screen, I have zero kills and zero deaths.

Is it just me or is the resolution super low in this game. I can't read anything on the menu screen and it kills my eyes to play. There is no options screen to even check if my resolution is set properly.

Keep your distance and strafe around him. When he throws his Knife and goes to grab it he's vulnerable. Use the Golf Club then. Do it 3 times to kill him.

I think that for the first dude's hallucinations, it's all because he's crazy, and then dead. I need to go back and figure out the timeline on things getting really nuts though, to see if it matches up with the boss fight with Motorcycle Helmet.

Also, I think the janitors/phone operators are supposed to be the developers? Haven't finished the puzzle and seen what that gives you, so this is just speculation on my part, but the dialogue you have if you go in without it seems to hint that they're supposed to be stand-ins at the very least.

All in all, a good $10 purchase. Where did people get Carl? I must have missed that somewhere, cause I never did, and I want a drill!

Also, I'm pretty sure Flexibility points are glitched or something, since I never got a single one.

No offence, but how could ANYONE have trouble with the van? It's like 4 dudes. It's almost pathetically easy compared to the other bosses. Motorcycle Mystery Man was way harder.

I think the password is the puzzle. The 20th stage MIGHT be the bonus pre-order only one?

Dennis, I think the first guy is called? Anyways, him. It's worth noting that scene where half of Motorcycle man's head is missing the conveniance store guy says that "None of this is really happening" and the body dissappears.

How does the ending change if you have the password? I haven't gotten it, yet. The game definetly starts to get stranger after May 23rd/Push It/Prank Call, though that doesn't kick in entirely until a level or two later.

I'm completely puzzled at how stage 9 is supposed to work. The only way I was able to finish it was by repeating the level until I got lucky and was on the door-side of the sweeping laser when the SWAT team busted in. Is that how it's supposed to work or did I miss something obvious like a 'jump' button? What triggers the beam? A specific enemy kill?

Also the Tony mask seems entirely too overpowered for the second mask you pick up in the entire game. I rarely feel compelled to use anything else.

For what it's worth it seems like just punching dudes isn't worth a lot of points. I mean, if you care.

Wish I could figure out how to unlock the rest of the masks I'm missing. I lack about six or seven and in the stages that have red X's where the mask icon would be I can't find any more.

The password is "I WAS BORN IN THE USA", but you have to have all of the puzzle pieces. You confront the two dudes in the sewer and find out that they're running the whole thing by themselves and they're some sort of nationalist group called '50 Blessings' bent on bringing down the government. At the beginning of each character's arc, you can check out some pink papers on a table that seem to be related to 50 Blessings. There's nothing revealed about the first character arc.

What should I be looking for for the puzzle pieces? I've beaten the game and ran around clicking on everything after each level, but I've only found 4 pieces so far. I didn't really see any visual clues for them, and going back through the levels I haven't found any more. I'm also missing three masks - are they supposed to be on levels with the purple dots by the masks? I've got four of those and haven't found anything going back through.

Just little purple dots. If there's a dot next to the mask that means you've already found the piece on that level.

The purple dots are the puzzle pieces. If they show up on the chapter screen it means you have them already for that level. The secrets look exactly like those purple dots. If you are having trouble spotting them try the Owl mask until you figure out what they look like.
