Is there something I don't know about glacier farming that would cause this group to instantly kick me, or is it just pubbies being pubbies? Their characters were level 4, 8 and 16...

Right, right, not like I would have stayed a justicar. Do people just not give others the chance to change characters once they see the makeup of the group they joined?

It's pretty annoying that the allied goal is split across difficulties, with no way to track if any of those portions have been completed.

Apparantly missile glitching is still a thing. I'm in a platinum game with a guy doing it now. They're using a striker if that means anything.

I'm on 360. They're playing as a destroyer, which I wonder if the reason is cosmetic or if they think they're hiding anything. edit: He sent me this message which I don't fully understand. quote:What you do is you get the striker out, and you take the missile launcher, you hold down rt shooting the missile up your round and count to two, and you hold down x, and then you shoot the striker and push up on the dpad. Normally I only play platinum farming if the group is set up for biotic explosions, but since the pickings were slim tonight, I played as a Justicar with three Destroyers for the hell of it. I'm now a full believer in the N7 Piranha. I do have to wonder, did my area reave really give me the 33k more points via assists than the third place guy, or were they just not very good?

There seems to be a lot of missile glitchers on platinum now. I guess the word spread about how to do it again. Any N7 Destroyer with a Striker is most likely doing it.

And if you spec like this: http://narida.pytalhost.com/me3/classes/#45MDKIL@0@0QA@@@0@0@0@0 You get a much stronger shadow strike, whether cloaked or uncloaked, and you get to easily use it twice during one cloak.

FronzelNeekburm posted:I'm going to have to respec after seeing how handy the passive bonuses are, but I'm not sure an extra 180 damage per Shadow Strike is worth giving up +40% DR over, especially for those "teleport next to a turret/pyro/hunter" moments. That's where the tactical cloak duration and bonus power comes in handy. You can either run to cover still invisible after shadow strike, or use a second shadow strike to finish your target off if they didn't die from the first. No need for DR if the enemies are dead or can't see you. To each their own, though.

Felinoid posted:It might be more the matter that they haven't had any dedicated maintenance time in the six months the game has been out. Now, they might be running circular maintenance, only taking one or a few offline at any one time but doing it constantly. Making the rounds, so to speak. Or they might be so stupid as to think they don't need maintenance. It's Bioware, so I'd believe either. Huh? They have downtime every now and then for maintenance, the most recent being on the 28th.

I like to imagine they keep buffing charge because people aren't using it as much as they want (to avoid vanguard glitching), and Bioware thinks the reason is because people feel it is underpowered.
