Basically there's a small group of goons that sort of cycles through EQ, EQ2, Vanguard, and various F2P MMOs, playing one until they get tired of it and then switching to the other. I don't know that I'd bother starting a new thread. The problem is that everyone who's going to play it for any length of time either already is, or already has. Bringing new blood into the game is absurdly hard, sadly. It's compounded by the tendency people have of not staying near each other in level range, so they get isolated, then quit. Or of getting up in arms about not being able to use uber awesome loot without a sub/unlocker, despite being able to play in blues and greens just fine. That being said, I've got characters at pretty much every level range up to 45 or so. If you want some company just message me on Steam (flarestar042) and I'll hop on with something.

There's a few goons who play, but I haven't seen anyone from goonguard in ages. I'm just playing guildless and grouping with people I've met while levelling up, but I'd probably join Twighlight Song or New Genesis if I wanted a guild.

I stayed in Goonguard for a while then quit and joined New Genesis. Goonguard was pretty much dead. I played a fair amount for a month and think I saw one other goon on that entire month and he wasn't responding to guild chat. New Genesis is pretty chill and there are some nice folks in there, but being a pubby guild there's also some weirdos and people who take it too seriously. They were doing a public raid in APW and some guy insulted a female guild member, which resulted in a few guys half yelling in voice chat "I'LL DUEL HIM FOR DISRESPECTING YOU" and other pathetic white knighting poo poo.

I don't play anymore, but I think I'm a Goonguard officer, as most people in the guild probably are, and I have the game installed so I can log in and invite people if they'd like.

Twighlyte Song is pretty chill. I've got a couple of my characters in there because why not, and it's usually pretty easy to find a group or help with whatever. That being said, they're basically the definition of a spam invite guild - at one point they had literally half of the players online in the guild.
