I didn't think QPR were that liquid, did they get him on a free transfer?

Reminder that Inter literally paid Julio Cesar to end his contract with them. Pretty much anybody could have got him (he's not that good anymore!!!)

I can't imagine his replacement is as good, I assumed Handanovic was meant to replace the old guy Inter signed from that 2nd division team a few years back. But poo poo I'd never heard of him before his signing so I'm probably wrong.

He's way better than Cesar.

Purno posted:We all know how lots of rain can screw up a grass pitch, but did you ever wonder what would happen with an artificial pitch? Because the results are quite bizarre. So it's a waterbed that gives you friction burns. Perfect for a very specific kind of orgy I suppose. Snow on an artificial pitch is kinda fun because it's no harder than normal but you can slide on it for miles. Of course when it snows and you haven't got an orange ball, you get a surreal interpretive dance performance instead of a dull game of football... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d48a6MDmCBM&t=86s

Yeah, all categories of sight-disabled athletes are eligible for the blind 5-a-side at the Paralympics (and sighted players can and do play the game outside of the Paralympics), this makes sure nobody gets an unfair advantage. Blind football is one of the weirdest experiences because (for obvious reasons) the crowd have to stay completely silent, and there's nothing more surreal than a large crowd not making any noise at all. Can't find a youtube that doesn't have commentary all over it, so here's David Beckham playing it without a blindfold, the tart: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQcmp5GkzFA
