Quite honestly most of the panels I've seen have felt a little forced in their humor to me, but maybe it all works better in context. I just love seeing cool old sideline Marvel stuff like The Mindless Ones come out of nowhere.

Once, I was like you. A fool who thought 'pfft, that just looks silly and BSS won't shut the gently caress up about it, how good could it really be?'.

Now, I weep for my folly and spend my evenings working on a time machine so I can travel back, punch myself in the knackers repeatedly and go out and buy enough copies to guarantee a second series.

It's really good.

I will love watching the tears when some random goon goes on an avatar buying spree and puts those faces on some poor souls.

I honestly can't decide which one is worse. Selina gazing mournfully from the background, questioning her existence, or the sheer unbridled BLARGHGL of Batman's agony in isolation.

It's two TPBs total. Or at least that's how it's split up on Comixology.

I always saw Nextwave as the comic book form of Airplane. There's just so many jokes/gags/subtle nods that it's like a whirlwind of comedy and sometimes it's over whelming but other times it works perfectly.

That said my biggest issue with Nextwave is that it set up Machine Man with such a awesome characterisation but then aside from his appearance in Ms. Marvel it was never utilised again. It just saddens me that no one will nail Machine Man quite as well again, my expectations are too high.

Machine Man was still using that personality in Marvel Zombies 3, and it was great.

What happened? Batman lost another Robin again? He's a child killer, man. He enables these kids to fight crime by punching bad guys and being murdered. It's like death by cop, man only Robins are all in Joker's face practically begging to be offed.

Still think the coldest thing he ever did was how he killed Gordon's second wife. Tossing the baby and when she catches it shooting her in the head.

Yeah, I remember that whole timetravelling story was kinda weird. For some reason the brain of Hitler and the white stone of Mecca is powerful energy sources (I don't know the what issues this is):

Its also kinda weird that TMNT of all things was one of the first places where I learned about islam:

Its also have a muslim character that's presented as an ally and not a terrorist which is pretty cool:
