This just in, Really Bad Company EA and Increasing Concerning Creeping Pile of People Bioware have announced Dragon Age 3: We probably should cut our losses with this series I mean![]() FEATURES:
And that's it. Oh I guess the dude at BioWare Edmonton said IGN Article posted:“The Dragon Age team has been working on Dragon Age 3: Inquisition for almost two years now,” said BioWare Edmonton and Montreal general manager Aaryn Flynn. “We’ve been poring over player feedback from past games and connecting directly with our fans. They haven’t held back, so we’re not either. With Dragon Age 3: Inquisition, we want to give fans what they’re asking for – a great story with choices that matter, a massive world to explore, deep customization and combat that is both tactical and visceral.” But people in this forum trust the people there as far as they can throw them. Anyways, Dragon Age 3, sequel to game that half of you played and all of you hate is here. Go ahead and go apeshit about how the Dr's need to eat all the dicks or whatever until Q4 2012 and probably long after that. ZackHoagie fucked around with this message at Sep 17, 2012 around 19:58 |

I'm pissed because I already see myself buying this. "Bioware, it's not you it's me, I can be better. Just take me back please"

I'm cautiously optimistic since underneath the lazy cash grab that was DA2 I found a fairly entertaining game. That said, I have a bad feeling about a move to frostbite 2. Are they really throwing out an engine they spent nearly 10 years on after 2 games? I have to wonder if it was pushed on them by EA or if their engine is just a big piece of poo poo to work with. A new continent seems entirely strange considering the entire story of DA so far is about that continent. I'm surprised it wasn't canned, though. DA2 wasn't received too well (though I'm sure it made a profit) and EA seemed like they were looking to size down a bit after SWTOR. Edit: 2013. Oh right. New consoles. It could just be that Frostbite 2 is already being optimized for them.

Those are some really awkward looking n's in Inquisition. I wonder why they thought mixing serif and sans serif in one letter was a good idea. E: Huh, it's actually consistent with what they did for Origins. It's still weird looking though. Smart Car fucked around with this message at Sep 17, 2012 around 19:55 |

Apparently Origins team kept working on the sequel (now DA3) while some other team did the horrible DA2. I can sorta believe this because DA2 was obviously an expansion turned full game at the end.

I can't rage about it yet, they haven't told me why it will suck yet. Every single piece of info released about DA2 was a strong hint it would be a bad game, I didn't hate it in advance for nothing!

So another new protagonist in a completely new place? I'm guessing once again all your choices will not have mattered in the slightest.

If comical Casey is part of the team I assume we'll get lots of artistic integrity, speculations and a massive pile of turd to polish.

Don't believe anything these people say because it's all lies.

I thought their only excuse(I mean, real excuse) for DA2 was that they were done with the franchise and just wanted to squeeze as much money as possible from it before it dies horrible agonizing death. Welp, it just went from evil but logical to absolute

I'm curious as to how they'll implement the multiplayer, if they decide to keep that as a thing. Would it be competitive (somehow,) or co-op like ME3? Either way, I hope this ends up better than DA2

I predict at first DA3 is going to sound like a decent enough game, like at first it's going to sound like they actually listened to people's complaints. Then somebody on the team is going to say something horrible or show some of the new "hot rodded" art and then it's all down hill from there. This is going to be as bad as 2 or pretty good like 1, either way it's probably going to be entertaining [e] I can't wait to see DA3's Waifu/Bishie love interests. Behold how the party dynamic changes when you meet your group consisting of an asexual (non-white), a woman (non-white), a man (non-white), a trans (non-white), a physically impaired person, and a homosexual (non-white). Players will recoil in horror as they fight their nemesis a mewling White Male who seeks to keep everyone in the kyriarchy. Are you a tough enough inquisitor to deliver true social justice?

DA2's ending was a giant neon TO BE CONTINUED and there were a poo poo ton of hints within the game that DA3 would be set in Orlais. I am not sure that some of you who are complaining or confused actually played DA2 (not that I blame you, it was mediocre-to-bad but not nearly as bad as this forum likes to say it was).
