I got given a beta key in June and it was an American key, being in the UK obviously i couldn't use it but Support@Dust514.com gave me an EU key right away as soon as i explained the situation to them. They are good at helping people gain access and answering questions. Also, you should be accepted by now. Everything's working fine.

Ha, managed to grab a beta key from a forum post on Giantbomb. If someone doesn't want to splash cash on the merc pack then there are keys still floating around out there. The annoying thing was that PS+ had downloaded the beta for me a while back, but I didn't realise I had such a short time limit open it up and jump on it. The day I went to look for it, it had already expired. Will sign up once it finishes downloading and installing. Looking forward to this. Edit: Yay, it downloaded! Boo, it wants a title update that is downloading the entire 2.5 GB again. Well, guess I'll see if I can login to the forums while I wait. Support gave me a new code so hopefully that works. If this game has even a fraction of the meta gaming Eve does it will be great as that's the best bit about it. I tried a variety of things when I was playing it but scamming dudes and the recent ice interdiction were the most fun I had, so here's hoping we can pull stuff equivalent to that off in Dust too.

Anyone applying to either corp or the Immobile Infantry site, be sure to add your SA name to the app. There are already a crowd of applicants that cannot read the side recruitment box. If I can't verify that you are with SA or an Eve CFC corp, the app will gather dust. No pun intended.

So this game is actually a lot of fun. Clearly still rough around the edges, but I'm enjoying it. Played a few battles and didn't end up sucking too much. Well, I didn't finish last, so I was happy enough with that. We need more goons in it though, so sign up you insufferable bastards. I enjoyed shooting things with whichever goon Enter Char is. Get a headset, get a gun, and get in the fight.

$20 NZ is preferable, but I can stretch to $40 if need be. Unfortunately, NZ funny money doesn't seem to go very far with technology, and it may be a total pain in the rear end to find the model of headset you recommend locally

Played a few more battles with Warshild, he talked me into improving my loadout so I was doing a lot more damage. Cost more to equip, but made a difference. Game is a lot more fun when you have someone to talk to and fight alongside.

I ran around up close as a sniper taking objectives for the first time. Was a lot of fun and I think we won every game we played. It's pretty effective, this teamwork thing. Definitely a good idea to make fits designed specifically for working as a team however.

Just knocked this up for trolling the Beta forums recruitment threads and then remembered we've paid an EVE goon to knock up a couple of other posters with a Starship troopers theme. What kinda theme to you goons wish to steal and use as our own for recruitment and trolling? Starship Troopers? Communists like EVE? Space Marines? We're open to suggestions and examples.

After two keys wouldnt work for me I gave up and bought the merc pack, CCP support in the meantime have sent me another key. so if anyone wants an EU region key here it is: EA84-HGNJ-LQK4 Hopefully should be able to play tomorrow, looking forward to it.

Personally i use a pad just fine, there's others who use a mouse. I've not used both so i can't really comment on the differences personally. I've no idea who some pubbie is on the forum so i asked "Who are you and why should i care?" This is the reply i got. quote:The real question is who are you JR?
