False accusations of surprise sex and pedophilia weigh heavily on the public conscience in the west; that's why any thread in GBS regarding surprise sex inevitably becomes about paranoia surrounding accusations. Is there any way that we could cut down on the he looks funny, must be a paedo sentiment in this thread? Obviously hindsight is 20/20, but paedophiles don't all look the same for gently caress's sake. How about we focus on the corruption and cooperation that led to suspicions never being followed up. How about we deal with the fact that the victims were so untrusted by the police they felt that they couldn't report their own abuse.
