I love that it doesn't feel like a Star Wars movie. I've had six of them. Haven't we all been saying for years that a different type of movie in the universe of Star Wars is what we wanted? We're about to get a bunch. I, for one, couldn't be happier about that. Exciting and new.

Like a cop movie. They should make a show about it.

Basebf555 posted:Right, like the TIE fighters wings should be shearing off if it tried to make turns like that. Not really. since we clearly see them not having their wings sheared off. Space ships are strong and made of metal. (They even become invulnerable and can go straight through other ships if you turn that on)

The only thing that should be shearing a TIE Fighter's wings off are the weapons of a more powerful spaceship that is fighting against them.

If you mean I'm convincing myself to like something I don't because I'm a fanboy, the correct answer is I'm not apologizing for liking rappelling into a Star Destroyer because it looks cool and I really don't care if it isn't in a certain expected context. A wrecked Star Destroyer getting explored by the indigenous locals decades later is genius and I don't care if it reminds people of indiana jones, that's all I'm saying.

Yeah, yaw is straight left/right changes of direction without rolling and banking. Aircraft can do it by applying rudder force, but aircraft don't have enormous flat vertical solar panels welded to their sides. It's almost as stupid as painting solar panels white.

I guess its the whole Stardestroyer dome sensor/shield generator confusion.

The fact that people aren't ashamed to post these kinds of things with their actual real life name and information is loving scary. You see it all the time on comment sections of news sites where you need to log into your facebook to post.
