Lucas is only going to be a "creative consultant"? YESSSSS

This is the reason I support this.

Get the gently caress away from Star Wars, Lucas.

Then again the concept of a Star Wars TV show has never sat right with me in general.

There is a Star Wars TV show that's on right now.

Or were you talking about live action? A live action Star Wars show would have to be handled extremely carefully.

A live action show would generally be a bad idea. There just isn't the time and budget to deliver a show that is on par with any of the movies in terms of production value.

I absolutely agree, it'd be extremely hard.

If they modeled it after Battlestar they it might have a chance, otherwise I just don't see a live action working.

Macgregor was, fortunately, doing an amazing job of holding his Sir Alec Guinness impression.

Yeah, he was easily my favorite actor in the prequels, even with Samuel L. Jackson being rad.

So loving excited for Mads getting the Star Wars love. He's Denmark's #1 export, after all!

I was in the queue for 12/17 at 7 pm but then got booted after I had selected my seats :qq:

After a few other shenanigans like that, I ended up having to settle for 7 am on 12/19. It's ~real~ IMAX 3d though, so it's gonna be worth the wait.
